Sexual desires and sex in general are a natural and integral part of the world, and is literally the reason for existence for creatures with live solely based on instinct. Smut should be embraced as a wholesome concept that is integral to our very being as living creatures striving for survival, not treated as a taboo!

I don't think it is taboo, it is just so prevalent in the thread now. It is just my preference, but I would never think others should think like me. I suppose I just don't like fictional sexual stimulation. For sure, I think people should feel comfortable with being sexual beings. I just don't mix it into my hobbies. :p

The smh was really just a joke. I truly don't mind. It is pretty amusing.

Smut for the sake of smut tends to be dumb. If it sounds interesting as a premise, should be fine.

It kills me that in shonen they avoid sexual tension so much. Like hot damn these are 15-18 year old teens. I mean its freaking implied that Japanese people have a low sex drive from most shows and the culture over there but god damn!

At least give some hints or something. All the old/new shonen seems to have skipped over it recently.

Goku, Vegeta, Kenshin, Yusuke and even freaking Yamcha was implied to have gotten some over the course of their mangas.

Meanwhile Luffy, Naruto and Ichigo can wave their V cards from the tallest buildings.

This is why I read a lot of smut to counterbalance all that hotblooded shonen.

All that blood certainly isn't going downstairs. >.>

Wow Inner Moka in a wedding dress as a color page, it was very beautiful. Sad the manga ended with how it all worked out. Really liked Issa and he has this aura to himself as a badass dad. Tsukune of course didn't end up with anyone lol. Implied Harem ending and no tail to show for it. Such a shame. Even Keitaro from Love Hina got some from Naru.... smh

Now to read Macho-kun because that looks gross and hilarious. Muscle freak with a muscle fetish chick? Sign me the hell up!

Man, I enjoyed this way more than I expected. There wasn't a chapter that didn't hurt my sides. I want more dammit.

Any recommendations for series like this one? I can't get enough guys.

Glad you liked it! There is Oresama Teacher, which is by the same author, but it's more story focused and has more drama.

Yeah it was a real tease and disappointed me. But I would feel bad for Kurumu and the rest after all they did for Tsukune and Moka. Also Inner Moka acting all nice and cute was hilarious since she still beats up everyone. No kiss is what really killed me. I mean come on! One little KISSU! It could have been an accident and I would have been satisfied. Then again Tsukune did kiss Moka in one of the side chapters I believe
before the outer self died in his arms.

The low birth rate is due to a lot of societal and economic factors, not really to "low libido". There's the fact that raising a child is extraordinarily expensive, and that when a woman has a child, her professional life basically comes to a grinding halt, among other things.

Whoa, no, I'm not a native.
Low birth rate doesn't necessarily mean less sex, and it definitely doesn't mean a weaker sex drive. Western media tends to twist that a bit. I recommend not judging a whole country's culture based on their comics for teenagers—that's silly.

On another note, Hi Score Girl is being done by Ciel Scans, if I'm not mistaken.

It's not that they are slow really, but Hi Score Girl has a lot of inlaid text. Scanning 1 chapter requires a shit load of redrawing, in combination with the usual translations, and we all know how the MC likes to ramble about games. Plus they're also short-staffed

So be patient while I tease you with my moonrunes Ohohoho

No of course not on judging the entire nation on their comics lol. Seinen and Josei manga exist too.

I mean it's fine if you're misinformed or assumed the wrong thing, I just thought I'd try to clarify. Everyone makes mistakes.

I think the avoidance of sexual topics/scenes isn't really out of the question for something that's aimed for young teens. Like even American cartoons and sitcoms avoid that too. The most you'll get is a kiss or something.

edit: also teenage boys 13-17 are most likely looking for porn to address sexual topics, not manga/comics/tv shows.
