Heavily disagree so far.
I feel like One Piece's New World *so far* has been same old same old with the Old World, barely any difference. The battles, the scenarios, the everything, the way things unfold, they feel largely the same. It just simply doesn't have enough strength and mystery for me as Toriko's Gourmet World does; the sense of the unknown and adventure of the Gourmet World simply crushes One Piece's New World, at least for now.
Well, as I said before, Gourmet World really intrigued me in the way that One Piece's New World, so far, has spectacularly failed. There is really that sense of adventure in the Gourmet World, of seeing wondrous things, epic things, a world of the unknown, that One Piece's New World so far for me has failed to provide.
I am excited about HxH's Dark Continent; that Calamity things are really eerie in a good way. While it may not rival Gourmet World in terms of scale, I have a strong feeling that it will rival if not flat out defeat it in terms of mystery of the unknown and sense of adventure.
