Its more Pariston is seeing himself and thinking "this is how i am?, kill it now".

Should be interesting to see what he does to stuff he hates since the stuff he does to things he "loves" are fucking crazy already.

yeah, they just sort of show up. Since like ~30% of the LN is on introductions, the "mystery" comes up kind of suddenly and it goes through it a bit faster so some of those characters don't get involved with the story. Most of the other books will introduce the people relevant to the story at the start

There's some puzzle-solving sort but, yeah, this is the better way to approach the mysteries. Try to follow them and solve them yourself but it's not going to be in the vein of a whodunnit sort of thing. Just a curiosity for the reader to keep the pages moving.



A lot of the individual stories will be tragic. I'd expect more bittersweet out of the resolutions throughout. So kind of like how Book 1 has the tragedy background story but a not-so tragic ending. Ultimately, it's a bittersweet series rather than a full-on tragic one.

I can't wait to find out what Ging has planned/what he knows about the Dark Continent. What ever is on the dark continent has to be way more valuable than all the money Beyond's team is asking for and I'm sure Beyond's team is going to feel dumb only getting double (hopefully we get some great reactions).

Yeah, I'm actually at a loss here. There's a few I can think of but not sure which is biggest. PM if you'd rather not have it in here for spoiler possibilities, I guess? I'd hate to guess randomly and spoil something else :p

This does remind me that I should mention there's an OVA and a movie. Don't look into those if you don't want spoilers. They roughly cover the character events (but not story) of Books 7-8, 5, and 4 for the OVAs (in that order, oddly) and the movie is a series consolidation.

Even the stuff that's known but haven't been successfully extracted (herb of life, that electric rock) sounds like they can go for a lot of money already.

Should be interesting to see what the undiscovered stuff is worth.

Amazing chapter. Somethings I am worried about though, like Mitsutoshi off-paneling Zebra, Sani and Coco progess. Is it too hard Mitsutoshi for giving me an update on whats going with the other members of the 4HKs from time to time!?!.

This is probably the best chapter in a long time, it made me remember why I like Naruto as a character. Even so, the plot continues to be meh, except they now cleared the Lava Level and are on the Ice Level.

Ging continues to show why he's a bad-ass. I'm also surprised at Gon returning to his house and needing to learn everything from scratch. And, Mito! I'm guessing we're not really seeing Gon and Killua in this arc, which is fine by me.

I was always wondering where did Ging & the Gang find all these awesome artifacts and items for Greed Island...part of me believed they were from the dark continent before remembering Ging has never been there :(

Going back home? Oh, I like this. I also feel like that the whole do all this work Gon is metaphor to Togashi coming back to write more than 3 chapters with almost no drawings. And I want Pariston to get bitchslapped by Leorio.
