Harem shenanigans continue. Interesting seeing Keiko being a lot annoyed at Hato, and being a lot more open about her advances in front of others. Hato potentially getting another opportunity soon. Sue and Angela unfortunately sidelined again. Kikuchi is hilarious when drunk.

Can't say I don't miss the atmosphere and writing of the original, but this is enjoyable in its own way.

And about your Hamon question, Stands can do everything Hamon can and Hamon got ushered out because it sucked.

You'd do best to separate Parts 1 and 2 from the rest.
Dio's vampire powers are heavily weakened since he is using Jonathan's body. And its not that only the ripple could hurt vampires, it was just the most effective.

Part 1 Dio wasn't as overly cautious as Part 3 Dio was and quite frankly, that was his undoing. True that having Jonathan's body rather than his original weakened him but he should still have had the majority of his powers. especially dem eye beams, motherfucker still has his head intact. He wouldn't even need Za Warudo to end half his enemies, those eye beams would have been more than enough for Jotaro and crew.

Plus, only reason Jotaro beats Dio was because Dio got nerfed by his own stand. Badass as Za Warudo is, to end up more fragile as a result of the stand itself AND just needing to destroy the stand, DIo's immortality and regeneration got compromised. The author had to nerf Dio for him to be doable for Jotaro. plus obvious IQ downgrade. EYE BEAMS > KNIVES and you can't even argue body because eye beams only requires HEAD which was INTACT. I didn't mind the knives at all but for Dio to not use the eye beams at any point during any fight was downright ridiculous considering he is supposed to be very intelligent.

Hamon don't suck but it lived out it's usefulness with the end of part 2. I like stands but in Dio's case, made him more human and killable. Considering he was supposed to be endgame boss and a fucking vampire who took over a physical specimen in Jonathan. Nerfing the guy just ruins it for me. I can take a nerfing if it was with good reason but the fight was too short and Dio was made a fool of by Jotaro. one stupid blind punch to end a fight? fucking really? really? This is how Dio Brando falls? Jotaro is strong but he ain't One punch man ffs. and why couldn't his earlier punches save time to end such a shitty fight?

What a terrible ending. I was hyped up for the fight only to see it end the way it did. Bloody hell. I actually liked most of the fight. but my beef with it is that it is 1. too short, 2. ended so stupidly, was dio made of sugarcane glass or something?, One punch. where was that punch the entire fight? what the hell were all those previous punches Jotaro was throwing? 3. Did Dio actually get more frail when he took Joseph's blood? doesn't Dio regenerate stamina, power when taking blood? Inconsistencies bother me.

Hopefully the end boss fight for part 4 is handled better if there is one for Josuke because I actually like Josuke. If there is one thing I really don't like, it is a bs ending to a fight.

She's like a dish with 0 appeal. She's stale. weary. rote. obnoxious. Her delusions aren't funny. Every time she appears I sigh instinctively. I'm not even looking forward to her food confrontation with Soma because I just don't care. Literally every other character is superior to her.

Decently interesting setting with a gearworld, but everything else was so generic. If not for the flashforward at the end, I probably wouldn't plan to read more.

For sure Bleach. I'm still on hiatus from reading it since I got tired of giving it the benefit of the doubt.

There hasn't been any twists and turns that I can take seriously now.

Kubo ran out of ideas ages ago. I see this as a play to get old fans back in the game even if the content itself falls on its face again.

Glad that Tadokoro got to squeeze in her own suggestion, but hopefully it's just the start. Seeing as Erina's not exactly inclined to try and grow her cooking skills here, I'm kinda hoping Tadokoro comes through with the truly 'meaningful change' that the stagiare is asking for. Though speaking of that, was actually kinda surprised at how they solved the Mitamura's lunch rush problems. Was expecting something more... straightforward. Nice enough chapter overall, though Hisako still isn't leaving a huge impression on me (despite my appreciation of her medicinal cooking style).
