Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
The creepy/Tim Burton-esque setting, Chopper's transformation, the whole cast of vilains...
So good.

Don't forget the Michael Jackson references. Loads of them.
Plus, it had some of the funniest moments in the series. Luffy pushing the zombie into the dirt, Robin calling the Cerberus "cute", BIG EMPEROR!

I will agree with the anime version of Thriller Bark wasn't good. It was the beginning of the 1:1 pacing and this was the arc where Oda gave every villain an annoying laugh. May work in the manga, but dear lord did it hurt the anime.

I don't even consider Kuma's appearance part of Thriller BArc. It's just an "event" that occurs immediately after. Same with Aokiji's appearance after the Davy Back Fight.

Kuma and Akoji are like nintendo they just don't count.

Akoji event took place in long ring long land and same for Kuma which took place in Thriller bark(gecko moria ship) with in the the arc.

Thriller bark was awesome with tone of great moments like zombie night, luffy pushing down a zombie, luffy in a suit of amor, brookes back story, robin growing wings, brooke introductions, negative hollow moments, docking, zoro vs ryuma, ussop vs persona, straw hats vs Oz, zoro vs kuma incredible moment.

Well I watched the anime in thought the arc was excellently done, I had a lot of fun watching it.and Gecko Moria voices nothing short of awesome.

Also the animation was nice

One Punch Man

Whoa, no wonder this chapter was delayed. This is some of Murata's best work by far.

Reading the ONE webcomic, Saitama might show up next chapter.

That's it, i'll stop reading OPM for a looong time... it just can't keep up with the release rhythm. See you next year.

About to watch OP film z. Super excited.

And Thriller Bark was indeed awesome.

I can't really think of anything One Piece that I don't like though.

Most filler arcs were pretty bad. Excluding G8 (even though Jonathan being Akainu's friend sounds really silly now).
Davy Back Fight is probably the weakest canon arc.

I think I'd take Davy Back Fight over Fishman Island. Davy Back Fight was at least both honest about it was and fairly short (plus it had some great moments at the end, and was generally fun and diverting). Fishman Island was underwhelming on every level.

I always feel like a One Piece weirdo because Thriller Bark and Skypiea are two of my favorite arcs.

Thriller BArc has quite a few cool moments, but it dragged on way to long for my liking. I'm in two minds about the Sky Island saga. Everything on Jaya is great, the first half of Skypeia too, but everything from the camp fire onwards is pretty lame outside of the Norland/Calgara flashback.

Is it a coincidence that all three characters in the face-off have a power based on physics?

Law: Space
Dofla: Strings
Fujitora: Gravity

Knowing Oda, probably not.

One Piece

Pretty good chapter, it handled the multiple scenarios better I feel. Also a few of them are converging which is good news.

Also, what if that wasn't a "meteor" but rather a piece of another floating island?

Now there's a fan comic in the making.

Fujitora: Take this!
*summons a floating island bigger than the one he's one*
Fujitora: Oh shiiiii-

FI became much more enjoyable after i read it again .
I would take it over Davy Back arc if only to see the SH beat the hell out of everyone easy ,
TB has has some good and bad points but Zoro was awesome in it .

Bleach

Everyone is doing the multiple character views in a chapter now! Uryuu is fucked, this is just a plot for the "A" dude to be reborn in his body! Or to use his body for something else!

Naruto

Meh! Please Finish!

One Piece

Finally, a great chapter. We got a good taste of everything, and the multi-character chapter is being fine-tuned. They just need to make the chapter a little longer if they are gonna do it. But very good shit all around! Go Lucy! Go Blind-Man! Go Franky! Go Usoland! Go Tite!

A Cruel God Reigns vol 3

Well as expected, Natasha couldn't do anything. I would have thought an adult would be able to stand against Greg or even pose a threat to him, but the man is far too smart for that. He basically got the entire family under his control. Blinding Sandra with his love, convincing Ian that he is suffering a tragic life, blackmailing Natasha with Matt and Jeremy with Jeremy with Sandra. The guy got total control over this fake happy family.

Interested in seeing what Jeremy is able to uncover, especially about Greg's first wife death. It seems that there are 3 different narratives surrounding her death and the aftermath of it. Suicide seems the more likely one although I wonder what did Greg do to drive to it. It seems like his sadistic nature didn't affect Ian and Matt so I doubt that was it.

Baby Steps 169

I have a feeling this match is going to result in an injury drop out from one of them.

Good thing it's not Wednesday on this side of the Pacific. Oh top of the page, here have this, courtesy of Akito.

Where is this from?

Cooking master boy 24

Pretty enjoyable series so far. While it is pretty light on any element that isn't actually about the cooking, it's nice to see chinese food being the focus for once, and the cooking battles are pretty fun.

Nakama~ So glad someone else is reading this, shame it updates slow as molasses (probably because it's older and lacks a certain appeal). As for the chapter, he's probably going to end up with some super elastic, chewy noodles. Making me hungry since I was eating ramen while reading this chapter.

ooh, there is a new chapter out? Been a while since the last one.
