He probably did. But Jucha Bacha Watevera's plan limits Ishida and effectively traps him in his situation like a kidnappee. And telling Ichigo things is usually useful but no character likes doing it for stupid reasons.
The names are so awful. You'd think he'd at least make it easier on the reader by making their nonsense names start with the Letter too, but no, its completely random. Kubo badly needs to start a chapter with a chart showing them all, but he probably won't.

Yes they were. Kubo's played the same stick with all three of them, that they all "choose" to go along with their captors, but for all intents and purposes, they're kidnapped (as far as the plot's concerned). Its just that Ishida might surprise us by useful (unlike Orhime) because A) He's male, B) He has powers, and C) He isn't fucking Orihime.

I just wish there was a better way to describe them than "quincy chick with Orihime's face" or "quincy chick with Matsumoto's cleavage".
You know what really annoys me about the girl squad though? Its that we already know their fates based on the fates of every other female baddie:
Nemu -- fought Ishida, stabbed by commander; survived
Soifon -- defeated by former commander; survived
Thunderwitch -- fought Ishida, defeated by fellow espada/hollow, implied death
Nel -- defeated by fellow Espada, survived
Aizen's loli assistants -- killed by fellow espada (TWICE); survived
Harribel -- fought Hitsugaya, defeated by Aizen; survived
Harribel's girl squad -- fought Matsumoto, defeated by Yamamoto; survived (somehow)
Soifon -- defeated by former commander; survived
Thunderwitch -- fought Ishida, defeated by fellow espada/hollow, implied death
Nel -- defeated by fellow Espada, survived

Guess what? This girl squad is going to fight either other woman characters or at least effeminate males. They're all lose but survive the fight only for the big bad Quincy to betray them and "kill" them for failing. And then most, if not all of them, will be revealed to still be alive at the end of the arc.

Ohmagari dual wielding tennis rackets is ridiculous on a completely different level than what this series usually does. But he seems to be pretty much trashing both Sanada and Akutusu right now. Tanegashima hasn't even had to do much. This is going to be a pretty difficult wall for them to overcome, especially with their subpar teamwork. Ohmagari does seem pretty cool, but I'm also ready to see Sanada pull out his aura and show just what it can do.

I love everything about this manga. The characters are all likable and the things that happen in the manga are adorable while not falling, that much, into generic romcom/harem tropes.
And thanks to Hori's dad rearing his awesome head things look to be moving quicker than normal. Something actually did happen!

Chart is missing the fairytail limited edition edition volume sales I think. It should still be in the top 10 manga this year...3mln is easy for it to reach.
Those three + Bleach could account to roughly 50% of the total annual sales. That's not healthy.
Nothing wrong with that, you're singlehandedly keeping the manga industry alive.

This is getting a bit too much like Lost with the "WHAT'S IN THE BASEMENT????" stuff but I'm still enjoying this for what it is. If there's one thing I'd change though it'd be making Mikasa or Jean (or levi~~~) as the main character as Eren is a little fucking shit and I'm still kind amad they didn't nix him earlier.
also, i wanna see that epic cooking arc in the fake volume 4 preview, that shit looked baller as fuck
