Looks great, and I've seen Five Star Stories thrown around in the mango thread a few times. Need to go through it some time.

Also this may seem weird awkward etc, But I did go through what was available of Kimi no Kakera when you recommended it to me a LONG time ago. And as you said it was definitely disheartening going throug what was available of Icoro's tragic journey.

That's just a matter of when not if, also in case it wasn't clear the episode that aired Saturday was the final battle with Aizen. Honestly that's the highest I've ever seen Bleach on Toonami

It kind of was for the longest time, but got epic by the end. The issue was the drastic difference in quality, pacing, etc. the manga experienced due to the amount of hiatus Togashi did. There was a period of time where there were a few chapters full of monologues that slowed the arc down. And also because of the amount of stuff that was happening it was difficult to keep up with everything unless you re-read entire sections of the said arc before you read that one chapter Togashi made a year.

So like what's the spoiler policy for this thread? I just decided to wander in here and lurk and then a few pages back I run into totally unmarked Attack on Titan spoilers :/ (like not even a heading or anyway to be aware of what I was reading until I had read it)

Is it just like anything goes in here? Like for the most part I'd seen spoiler tags if it seemed they were having a detailed conversation about the a manga or people were usually generally vague when talking about any particular chapter or what not (plus they had headings). Should I just never step foot in this thread again?

It's pretty well explained in the first post but tl;dr once it's available in English either scanlation or print it's considered fair game no spoiler tag discussion, if it's just chapter summary leak before an official release you spoiler tag it.

This is someone watching the anime though where the hiatus issues really don't impact things as much from what I've seen.

Whoa, this really drags you into the prohibitionist-era south, stewing with it's latent racism and religious hypocrisy. What really makes this faustian take on Robert Johnson, no, "RJ" work is just how fucking good the art is at building up this incredibly oppressive atmosphere. It's almost like Hiramoto himself made a deal with the devil to pull this ridiculously detailed art off so consistently.

This is true art.

This post makes me honestly hope that Togashi never comes off Hiatus until the anime is finished, because I don't want to get spoiled. I'm loving the Ant arc so far!

That's the last of the translated Tatsumi works. The Push Man and Other Stories is still my favorite. Behind Black Blizzard, this was probably my least favorite to read. Interesting if you're familiar with Edo era Japan, and if you like rakugo stories, but I still think Tatsumi does best in a modern setting. More conducive to gekiga stories.

I will say that I'm sort of impressed Kishi managed to keep Sage Mode continually relevant throughout the manga despite it appearing to become obsolete, e.g. the Kaio-ken to Tailed Beast mode's Super Saiyan.

One Piece was just...holy shit. Wasn't expecting the twist with the toys to be anywhere near this sad. Jesus. Cannot wait to find out more.

Meanwhile my total apathy towards Naruto these days has made me not know what the fuck has been happening for the past few weeks.

An unfortunately super rushed final arc, but is salvaged through the awesome fanservice.

Despite its uneven quality later on, Eyeshield 21 is by far one of my favorite mangas. Hope you continue loving the rest, AlabastreAizo. :)

So my guess is when Luffy KOs DC, he breaks through the floor to the factory. Fights with DF crew may occur after or during the assault on the factory.

Law will hold out until this stage, and DF will be called back when he hears about the assault on the factory. Law will pull out after him and Fujitora will pursue. My feeling is that there is a 50/50 chance Luffy will defeat DF this arc. Or maybe 25/25 Luffy/Law. Law has a more credible reason for defeating DF really...
