American Alpha vs. Corbin and Rhyno from TakeOver: Respect was the first big match they had on TV. Gable's Chaos Theory suplex on Corbin in that match is a marking out moment.
Asuka vs. Emma from TakeOver: London is probably your best bet, though you could also go with Asuka vs. Dana Brooke, in which Asuka unleashes everything in her war crate against Dana.
It's not banned, it's just not his finisher.

I don't think that's meant to mean they have main events already scheduled for them, just that he's intended to be the guy the company is built around for them, like Cena was for WM 22 and 23 after his ascension at 21 (which he funnily enough didn't main event).

I've discovered by asking many people over the years that there's basically two types of people in the wrestling world. People who think its one of the best matches ever and people who think its completely boring and pointless.

This doesn't match the level out outrage some have for it. I think she should get a new finisher but I think its a perfectly acceptable set up move and it does look fairly vicious a lot of the time.
I mean, I lived through an era where some people would do a sleeper hold as a set up move while others would use it to put Hulk Hogan out cold in two straight matches in an era where he basically never lost.

Can't agree. There are some pretty dumb finishers out there, but using your ass to give somebody a concussion isn't one of them. And I'm gonna be real, Asuka doesn't get anywhere near as much elevation on hers as Naomi does. In comparison, you could say Asuka's are "half-assed."

I'm glad that he isn't afraid to admit that now. Other than some people couldn't appreciate the story telling and professional wrestling going on, it's a match I immediately tell people to watcg if they want to know what's the greatest. It's old school and you can tell the new generation didn't have the patience for it.
Something I hardly ever worked on.
Owen could make everything little thing good. That's what some people don't understand. He didn't need a lot to make a lot.

Having watched Jericho in WCW, the stuff he was doing there was fantastic. He then goes to the WWF, gets a HUGE reception during his debut and dueling Rock promo. Then he proceeds to get jobbed out to almost everyone, including Chyna. Right now where I'm at, he kidnapped Chyna, tied her up to a chair and crushed her hand with a hammer. I don't remember where it goes from here, but it was a really dark sequence that was uncomfortable to watch on a wrestling program.
What a waste. I know the official WWE line from the company and Jericho in all the docs is "Jericho came and didn't have any fire for a long time and puttered around because he wasn't trying hard enough" but the crap they're having him do is insane.
What's even more insane? Jericho's STILL getting huge face pops when he's supposed to be the heel. He's constantly berating the crowd, doing abhorrent things, and the crowd cheers it. His segments aren't nearly as entertaining as they were in WCW because they're just having him do horrible TV. It's like, you guys just stole one of WCW's most entertaining guys and the crowd is bursting at the seams to cheer this guy on because they know what he CAN do and the WWF is doing these awful things with him.
luckily they smartened up with him eventually but man, what a waste 1999 was for Jericho so far.
