We finally got a higher-quality logo for Ant-Man & the Wasp.
It's pretty.
The version in the OP is also super neat.

If you squint you can spot Ant-Man in the A.

That's it! That's where I heard this from. I'm not crazy. They are putting her in another realm.
Fairly certain comicbookmovie dot com, mcuexchange, denofgeek, and bleedingcool are all owned and run by one dude with a twitter account and NeoGAF profile. Probably neoxon or richiek.
I'll be honest, I always assumed they cast her in the role with that intention (having her in AoS or a present Agent Carter), given her TV experience.Missed this earlier but this reads like the safest guesses ever based on what we know. And even if this shit doesn't happen in the movie, you can claim that it existed in early drafts with like 90% accuracy because it's fucking Captain Marvel and the Kree-Skrull war.
In other news, Emily VanCamp aka Sharon Carter doesn't know whether she will return to the MCU (duh) but apparently there were discussions to have her appear on Agents of SHIELD.
Yeah, not me. I barely have time for just GAF, let alone managing 4 websites.Fairly certain comicbookmovie dot com, mcuexchange, denofgeek, and bleedingcool are all owned and run by one dude with a twitter account and NeoGAF profile. Probably neoxon or richiek.
So did I. I was particularly surprised that they didn't try to use her after Revenge ended. What a wasted opportunity. Hopefully they fix that.I'll be honest, I always assumed they cast her in the role with that intention (having her in AoS or a present Agent Carter), given her TV experience.
Just wanted to chime in and say that I have a really bad feeling about The Defenders and as one poster said earlier, if they screw this up it could put a really bad stink on all the future series additional seasons.
...
They're going to kill the one character we don't want them to kill, but would make the most sense to serve as "motivation" for the Defenders toavengeumm... starting Defending, aren't they?
I meant more the Marvel Studios physics guy who gave an interview earlier this year. Here's the original article (those sites were all just reporting it). It was this that made me think she would possibly be off doing her own thing explaining her absence in IW, but this was also before they revealed that her movie takes place in the 90s.
There's an old WB show called Roswell starring Katherine Heigl. Watch any random two and a half episodes of that instead.I have still not seen Iron Fist completly.
I'm not pessimistic about The Defenders. I loved Diamondback.
I wouldn't say I'm pessimistic about The Defenders.
But they've done a piss poor job at communicating why I should care about this beyond "hey you know these chracters from TV shows ranging from pretty good to garbage". It also sounds like it's plagued by the same problems the other Netflix shows were.
I mean, it's fine. Agents of SHIELD is returning next year.
I haven't even started Iron Fist.
They're gonna beat up Sigourney Weaver. That's not enough?
I haven't even finished Luke Cage. Probably never will. Netflix Marvel is DONE. Will probably just skim Defenders and make fun of hallway fights, and then wait for Punisher.

In all fairness, it's a strategy that worked exceedingly well for Marvel when it came to their film equivalents.
...christ.
Yeah, I think I've acknowledged as much last time the topic came up. It was a great hook in 2012, in 2017 I need more. Especially when the CW trash shows have these crossovers on a constant basis and almost always end up sucking.
Either way, I think it'll be fine. It's just difficult getting excited for 8x50mins coming off a bad Iron Fist season.
The Buck strikes again.
I wonder if Disney is gonna interfere with the TV side if this ends up being another dud.

Having watched 1 episode of Daredevil and 4 of Jessica Jones, I'm going to go into the Defenders blind.
Not likely. They'll collect the ad revenue and move on to the next thing.
Considering Iron Fist was "dud" enough to warrant a second season from Netflix, probably not.
Music video.
P.S. He already said it's not Avengers related.

I'd bet that is the "post-credit" scene for Defenders, much like how it was for Daredevil Season 2 and Luke Cage.isnt it weird we still have no Punisher date?
I mean we are all still assuming it's this year right? Not much "this year" left, especially for an announcement.

Yeah, the Luke Cage one did.the release date? they had release dates in the post credits before?
Today in "No shit" news, Michael Rosenbaum who played Lex Luthor in Smallville and Martinex in GotG Vol. 2 (This dude) would love to return to the Marvel universe which isn't all that surprising since from what I can tell he's pretty much unemployed now.
Anyway, would be cool if they had the OG Guardians in Captain Marvel in some capacity.
I have still not seen Iron Fist completly.

The only good moment of Iron Fist thuus far was when they mentioned Spider-Man
German dubIn an isolated Italian dub version of the show?
Talk about small victories.
Ben dying instead of Karen, though completely unsurprising, still annoys the hell out of me. The fact that they went on to give Karen a job that was in no way justified by anything she did in the show made that decision look even worse. God, I hate Karen.Although the twist revolving around Ben's death in Daredevil was legitimately shocking for me, and his death scene itself was great...I think killing off Ben was something of a mistake for that show. He's a great character who's absence was sorely felt in Season 2. God knows, I felt Karen did an extremely poor job when it came to filling the void left in his place as an investigative journalist in the later episodes.
Karen: I think Castle was a victim of a conspiracy or something...
Daily Bulletin: Great job, as a secretarial assistant for a law firm with no past writing experience, we'd like to hire you as one of our top writers. Here's the office of our lead journalist. You start work tomorrow.
Karen: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A HERO? IN A WAY, ALL NEW YORKERS ARE HEROES...
