Too many things are conveniently linked in some unforeseeable way just to keep the plot moving quickly, yet for how quickly things are moving (or literally just happening for no reason, like Karnak and the girl), it's actually boring somehow. I was honestly waiting for it to be over so I could start on Voltron season 4.

Just watched episode 1 and 2 but why is the scientist boss skeptical about her shit, this is the same earth that almost got destroyed by aliens from a wormhole and stark skynet, a thunder gods used to hang around new York and inhumans exists

But, yeah, this show is bad. Like, worst of the CW shit bad without any of the potential redeeming qualities those might have had.
Got around to watching the first two episodes. They were not kidding, this is awful. I can't see this getting a Season 2.

It has achieved trainwreck status, the only reason to watch is morbid curiosity to see just how bad it can get.
The part I don't understand is how you start making something like this and don't look at your dailies or whatever and realize how bad it is.
It's horrible at every level, there is not a single redeeming thing about it.

Going to stick around through the last episode, but my god, this is an absolute train wreck. Somehow it actually got a lot worse after the premiere.
We have a show about the Inhumans thats devoted almost entirely to shitty romance subplots with complete nobodies. Medusa still doesnt have her hair, lockjaw is virtually out of the picture, and Karnak seemingly gave up his entire quest to grow weed and have tent sex. The action sequences take place in motels, and apparently theres only one room in all of Atillan.
The Maximus stuff is still serviceable, but only because the actor is talented enough to transcend the bullshit hes given.

Episode 4 is my "favorite" so far! lmao... The Louise and Medusa scenes were hysterical. Crystal's facial expressions after touching a human. Black Bolt's face this entire episode. Karnak getting his freak on while weed dude angrily masturbates. I just can't.
Side note... I forgot that Sean Callery does the score for this show. He is completely sleepwalking through it. Damn...

The difference is Fox made several attempts to develop an X-Men property before settling on this, and the showrunner is actually a big fan of the franchise who is passionate about the project. This one got some sweetheart deal after being pushed by the Marvel CEO and got handed off to a dude who doesnt care about the property and doesnt understand it. The difference in results is evident.

Karnak found some nice drug dealers in the forest of Hawaii and made friends with 2 of them. The woman in the group took him swimming and one thing led to another.

Yeah, pretty amazing after his hilariously terrible shutdown of that random girl in the pilot. This makes about as much sense as that. He's literally only getting some because it serves the plot.

Not true - The Gifted follows the typical TV series development cycle and was ordered by Fox only in May 2017 - so they had way less time to put the bulk majority of this together.
