The most compelling reason is showing Shepard alive in the Destroy ending.

I just replayed the ending and noticed that the two squad mates that get off of the Normandy after it has crashed and join Joker are the two squad mates you bring with you to the final battle on Earth. I find that very strange.
Nope. I took Vega and Javik. I saw Liara, Joker, and Javik come out of the ship during my play through. I think who comes out of the ship is random or something.Following the Indoctrination theory, everything that happens on the citadel is a dream, and as part of that dream Shepard dreams about a best possible outcome that is actually impossible. The two people that get out of the ship in addition to Joker are always your two squadmates, that were with you in your charge to the beam.
Yeah, but 3 did an amazing job with returning characters (Garrus became a god, Mordin was already a legend and got even higher, Thane got a wonderful tribute, etc...)

No, it can be edi

Besides, the beam on Earth runs through the Citadel, no?
Couldn't it be the same damn beam?
I got that with my ending. I'm now wondering that if the indoctrination thing is real, is the part with the Normandy on another planet maybe just a dream?
That's what we're saying, yes.

Or just wait for BSN postsPSA: the final hours of ME3 is out on ipad.
Anyone with 3 bucks and an ipad wanna check it out for hints about certain theories?
Oh well, if he is telling the truth, I'm never buying another product from Bioware and their experiment with these games has been a giant failure. Look forward to hearing about their future 3rd rate shooters with RPG elements. Would this be my anger stage then?
He did like 2 tracks though. Just weird that they decided not to bring back Wall yet ended up reusing a bunch of old tracks.
Yeah I can go with that. I still feel like being first introduced to all these different characters, and then recruiting them for this suicide mission was really compelling. It made a great first impression on me, and made me care about what happens to them in ME3.The characters being more tied to the story in 3 is why I would put it ahead of ME2. I just cannot and will not ever be able to care about all their family or friend problems. Even you Garrus, just put a cap in that asshole's head and lets get back to business.

.Q: What did you think of the ending? Is this addressed in the story?
A: I've seen the uproar online about the ending and understand the fan perspective. Personally I respect the creative choices the team made and had no problems with how the story ended -- it made you feel something, even if that feeling was uncomfortable.
The Final Hours addresses the challenges BioWare faces in writing a story with defined parameters in a game environment where players want to feel like they have choice. Ultimately your opinion on the ending will depend on who you see as the "author" of Mass Effect's story -- BioWare or the player.
The ending of the game is discussed in the App and there are some notes from the team about how they were thinking about the ending. Since this story was completed before the public release of the game, I do not address the fan petitions or reaction. I hope to update the story with a new chapter on this down the road.
Just put this in the OP so people saying "I don't know which ending mine was" have a quick and easy reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPelM2hwhJA
lolfuck i got the worst ending possible
That means no one on the normandy survived. You didn't do enough side missions.I didnt see anyone come out, I just saw the door slightly open.
No Galaxy Tab love? I'm so sick of this IOS exclusive mess. You would think these "smart" companies would realize that the more platforms you are on would more than likely equal more profit or sales. Man I'm so sick of this generations business model.PSA: the final hours of ME3 is out on ipad.

I changed my mind! Now I totally believe all this flimsy bs must be real! It can't possibly be bioware's laziness like the other 2 games!!!!

lol If I didn't have my Bible on this thing, it would be completely worthless. Wifi only makes it even more worthless. It takes a lot of money to develop an app for multiple platforms.
So of course, they are going to pick the one with the biggest market.
You made that choice when you got a Galaxy Tab...
It takes a lot of money to develop an app for multiple platforms. So, no it really wouldn't be that cost prohibitive.

Wow. Just wow.
So now the ending is our fault, somehow.
Android is in position to catch up to and overtake iOS in tablet sales is just a few months.
There's no logic in saying any of us with an Android tab should be counted out based on market share alone.

What, where the fuck are you getting these numbers?
Yeah the ending was disappointing but I enjoyed the game a lot.
Is it possible to save David Anderson from dying? ... probably not, but worth asking.
I feel like one of the few people who thought ME2 was a much better game than ME3, with the exception of combat. But the combat isn't the main draw of the series for me. Although being totally hypocritical, if ME1 had better combat and aced he elevators (or at least, make the banter exactly as long as the ride), I would've liked it far more than ME2. As it is, ME1 and ME2 balance out; I may like ME1 more but find ME2 more enjoyable to play, if that makes sense. I'm not really down on ME3 as much as I'm up on ME1 and ME2.
Its important to note that all those examples are from finished films. They didn't go back post theatrical release and film a new ending.
Miranda's eyelids and teeth/lips were red after her dad died in Sanctuary in my game, which made for an odd conversation. Looked like somebody punched her in both eyes and the mouthI just had a mission where my Shepherds eyelids disappeared. So she had the big bug eyes. It was pretty funny. Good times.
Wow there's been 23 new pages since i went to bed last night after a gamut of emotions. I actually laid in bed looking at the ceiling thinking about ME, the characters, what happened, what happens next (if anything), my Liara (lol). So cliffnotes on the last 23 pages? any good info/rumors..that type of thing
We appreciate everyone’s feedback about Mass Effect 3 and want you to know that we are listening. Active discussions about the ending are more than welcome here, and the team will be reviewing it for feedback and responding when we can. Please note, we want to give people time to experience the game so while we can’t get into specifics right now, we will be able to address some of your questions once more people have had time to complete the game. In the meantime, we’d like to ask that you keep the non-spoiler areas of our forums and our social media channels spoiler free.
We understand there is a lot of debate on the Mass Effect 3 ending and we will be more than happy to engage in healthy discussions once more people get to experience the game. We are listening to all of your feedback.
In the meantime, let's give appreciation to Commander Shepard. Whether you loved the ME3 ending or didn't or you just have a lot of questions, he/she has given many of us some of the best adventures we have had while playing games. What was your favorite moment? smilie

I'll summarize it for you:
- The ending sucks
- The ending is a dream
- Lol, the ending's not a dream
- BioWare sucks
- BioWare says it's our fault
- The ending sucks
I think that's pretty accurate.
Yo, can I get a response up there ^^^^??? I've posted twice now. I need answers!
