Mass Effect 3 SPOILER THREAD: LOTS OF SPECULATION FROM EVERYONE

I'm not sexist at all. Do you think there are any female MMA fighters who could beat John Jones? Or Rampage Jackson? Any female football players that could take on Ray Lewis? Any female Kung fu fighters who could have beaten Bruce Lee? These are all physical things that men are more suited for. Women can run circles around us in many things, but we are more suited for combat than they are. This is a fact and not even worth arguing. Keeping in mind, that there are always exceptions to the rules. I love women, I'm married to one. lol

Applying sexist logic in a science-fiction universe set over 100 years in the future, where a mono-female gendered alien race is the commanding authority in the galaxy.

lol

Does Vega do anything interesting if you're a woman? With male shep he was as generic and personality-less as they come. Oh, wow, his nickname for you is "loco", what a character!

Wait... so his nickname for FemShep must be LOCA!

Whether or not you like femshep is pretty irrelavant at this point. More like you cannot handle the thought of a woman in a military leadership position. This is entirely your failing.
I like Femshep more than Maleshep, but assuming anyone who prefers the latter over the former as someone who thinks women can't be effective military leaders comes off as pretty dickish on your part, to be honest.

Vega calls Femsheps Lola iirc.

Of course any sane human being slaps that shit down and makes him call you Commander.
Speculation over, time to discuss which gender is the superior commander.

Manshep because that was my ME1 bro and his face(code*) is what will always be the Sheparoo~ to me.

* 341.W5D.B7L.J84.AKG.37M.4Q9.7AP.346.1F5.836.7

Made it accidentally in ME1, imported & played through ME2, then went through the trouble of processing the face code for use in ME3. I'm sad that this face will no longer be in use.**

**I hope they use face codes again in the future so I can use this code. I'm really attached to this ugly mug.

But he can sport his awesome N7 tattoo despite the fact that the alliance is probably now gone along with the N7 program.

I believe he calls you Lola, and get's embarrassed if you flirt with him. He's as dull as they get.

He called my Shepard Lola and still wanted to fight me early in the game. No romance or anything with him. Nothing major.

It's "lola" for the ladies, you can fight him while your female shepard is in a dress, and when he gets a tattoo, you can call him out on all of the flirting, but he's revealed to be really bashful and nothing happens.

Question: What happened to all the people on the citadel? Did they get killed by the reapers? I can't recall anyone mentioning their fate. When you enter the citadel after you've been knocked unconscious by the reaper attack, you see a lot of dead bodies but I thought those were humans from earth.

You self entitled piece of shit! If Bioware wanted to tell you what happened to those billions of people they would have done so, because its their story to tell, not yours!

Maybe you should read his posts 1 page ago specifically where he says "this is too important to leave to a woman" before responding and making a dick of yourself

I pictured you making the face your avatar has while saying your post. I proceeded to bust out laughing at work.

BIOWARE!!! What is this: Jacob is in love with some doctor?!? I thought he loved Shepard! ANd now he's got some other chick knocked up. FUCK THAT! NO! hurr hurr go alien or we'll just tease you with James.

goddamn it this game!

It seems you need to be either 100% paragon or 100% renegade.

Seems pretty bullshit cause 100% one way or another is pretty lame. I was about 80% paragon and the other 20% renegade lead to some awesome actions in the story.

I never understood doing a complete paragon or renegade playthrough honestly, I want to play the game how I want to (that isn't too say people just want to be pure good or pure evil), but I went through pretty much the whole series with my renegade and paragon points at 50/50 and was able to save everyone in ME2 (having options to solve all shipmate conflicts), and also was able to do every paragon or renegade option in all of the dialogue choices for ME3 (well besides the very last illusive man one which didn't really do anything because you can just shoot him anyways).

Bravo:) Excellent response and sounds like it comes directly from Bioware PR hahahaha

I rolled FemShep all the way, mostly because Meer's voice acting is just terrible to me. And this is even after giving him multi-hour attempts in both ME1 and ME2.

Funny that I never knew how Vega was and I didn't miss one bit apparently. To me he was nothing more than the Krogan in the tank, and he never got out from there.

That's what you get for romancing Jacob Taylor.

The Hell? Grunt's awesome.

I love Thane, but him dying (and not even seeing his death I don't know what I did wrong) and Garrus---I'm sorry but I could never. This guy is my dawg! Jacob is hot.

So if you're not a lesbian, you have no one to romance in ME3 (if Kaidan died) Fuck' em

You did his loyalty mission and visited him at Huerta early on in the game, right? I thought that was all you needed to trigger his death scene.

Based on the actual game, they've spent a whole lot more effort on Liara and Garrus than anyone else for FemShep.

Liara is the only good romance option. Bro or Fem shep

I never thought of it that way haha well played

Seriously though those scenes with femshep and Jacob have to be the most awkward thing in the whole series. Just godawful writing, dialog, voice acting, the whole thing is just bad and hard to watch

It's hilarious when you meet him in the hospital, and Shepard doesn't even get the option of calling Jacob out further (or gut-punching him). Instead, he's all like "Oh, we're thinking about naming our child after you, Shepard!" and Shepard is all like ":)"

This right here

Now you've gone from vague misogyny to just flat out trolling.

Good thing the universe ends in ruins, else there would be way too many shithead little Shepards running around.

Even as a Tali fan I'll admit this. Liara is such an important character, its hard not to see the influence Shepard has had on her.

Plus she's going to live 100's of years after Shepard, I wouldn't be surprised if it was her that started "The Shepard" legend.

If I knew how'd they develop Liara I'd have romanced her in the first game.

Ashley is constantly nagging about EVERYTHING and Miranda doesn't show up a lot in ME3.

It's implied with her info box thing. She was always going to be the storyteller.

The more I reflect on the game, I feel as if there were two distinct writing teams. The people who did the beginning, terrible ending and Joker/EDI stuff. They all seemed to have the same "flavor" if that makes any sense.

The rest of the game that I recall, was pretty well written. Well, the rachni part was rehashed and pretty sorry too, but other than that...

Mordin/Thane/Legion deaths were well done. Mordin and Thane were genuinely emotion-evoking. Legion...not so much, because he didn't really "die."

The team really went out of their way to ensure you never got to play with ME2 characters. Sort of an odd decision.

That ending though....inexcusable. People devoted way too much time to this series for it to go out like this. They really ought to be ashamed of themselves for throwing that out there. It's embarrassing.

Legion dies when you put like. Five bullets into. Him.
