Mat Piscatella: Ended up being a great holiday period for PlayStation Portal in the US. It finished the year with an over 4% attach rate to PS5

Has Sony ever come out and talked about the attach rate for the PSVR2? I need that thing not to be DOA. When all VR headsets do well, we all win.
We heard from some devs that PSVR2 sold around 2m units before holiday season. And it sold very well during holiday season thanks to the big price cut.

Its not a big success, but its not a failure neither. It seems to sell at a same pace as PSVR1.

If you google total sales, this number comes up. Sony announced in December that 3% of global PS5 users had purchased a PS Portal.
It's based on US sales (3% figure in November).
Edit: September apparently.

Mckmaster uses MasterCard to buy Slave drives
because without cloud play it was in wii-u territory.

Once PS+ is added to it, I see the benefit over a regular tablet and dualsense. Although I also think Sony should have a PC-tier and Android-tier exactly for streaming to everything. They could call it PS Now. lol

But it could always be used outside of your house. So that's literally not "Wii-U territory".

Still think this thing is dogshit and would have bought one if it wasn't a streaming only device.

I'm so damn tempted to get one of these so I can just sit on the sofa and play some PS while the mrs is watching tv. Haven't done much research into it though so does the PS5 need to be on or can it be in rest mode?
PS5 needs to be fully powered on, or in rest mode. Portal can't connect if PS5 is shut down.

PS5 should also be plugged into the ethernet, Portal runs like hell if PS5 is connected to wifi.
