Honestly, I love the fact you can actually have a conversation here, but I’m not down with the over-the-top anti-woke shit. The pendulum keeps swinging to the extremes. First, it was the insane woke bullshit, and now we’re at a point where any dude in a video game that has a slight tint is labeled woke. There has to be some sort of compromise in the middle, right? Or am I crazy?
This is the middle. A spectrum of viewpoints allowed to be expressed. I'd guess you'd catch a warning or a ban on other forums for this post, but here it's just another Tuesday.

Can I just say something? I logged in this morning and had like 21 notifications and then just now a few hours later had another 16. There was a shit ton yesterday too. Don’t take this the wrong way but I’m kinda hard right now. This place is poppin’.

Don’t ban Hans James for his alt accounts, or me for trolling him. We’re just a couple of OGs messing around.

I want to believe that, but I see topics about woke and DEI stuff and 95% of the replies are Steam forums tier, you know what I mean? Occasionally you see someone pop in and say “who cares if they’re black or a tranny or whatever?” and they get shouted down. There has to be a middle for us normies.

I'm glad. Rebirth is actually a much better game than I thought it was going to be. It did manage to recapture a bit of the magic of FFVII, which the first game was only able to do with nostalgia.

It wasn't perfect. The main story missions were full of filler and the use of pauses after everything to slow me down and screw up the pacing were a real drag but the open world is actually far better than anything Ubisoft ever released that is open world and up there with some of my favs. I'd give it a well earned 9/10. Loved the card game the open world the graphics the gameplay(systems and combat) and the music. The story sections and the pauses / filler and some of the minigames could use some love for the next one. Easy recommend for any jrpg or rpg or open world fan. No history with FFVII necessary.

There's a new merc, a new merc in town!
She's like the best! The best around!

Glad to hear it’s selling well on PC. Love the game and going through it second time now on Steam. The only bad part is that it’s going to delay my adventures with Sir Henry and Red Herring! 😉
