Voted Lib Dem in the end, despite flip-flopping all over the place in the last 24 hours (and almost deciding just to spoil). They'd been my strongest overall match in both of the ridiculously long online sites I filled out, and in the end I can't say I'm enamoured by either the "fuck business" stance of Labour or "fuck the poor" stance of the Conservatives (I do appreciate this is a massive generalisation, but whatever).

I'm not poor and I don't run a business, but I do want people worse off than myself to be able to live a decent life and I do appreciate that business is important in a lot of ways other than making the wealthy even wealthier.

So as I fall in between pretty much everything left and right, it seemed like the logical choice. Not like it's going to mean anything when the seat is awarded anyway!

I love Cantona's adverts, but tbh I think this is the absolute peak not only of Cantona's career, but of advertising generally. I've made quite a few TV adverts I like less than this, and I love my own. This is basically just a perfect advert. Amazing song, amazing football, ALL the names of the day and Cantona being a bamf.

Voted (Plaid). I didn't make up my mind till I was holding the pencil in my hand. Not sure if it was the right thing to do, but I went for tactical in the end.

On a more positive note, most people at work were going to vote. Even a co-worker who had been boasting he hadn't voted since 1979 or something by today said he would likely vote. So yay.

You made the right choice, if I'm correct in thinking McCrea was the one who lobbied Thatcher in the hope of committing airstrikes on Drogheda.

That is completely impossible, the only comparison that could be drawn to Fox News are ISIS video diaries. At most Ed gets a bit of ribbing about eating a sandwich, Obama has been accused of setting up death camps. Obama gets way more vitriol, and he should but rarely in the right areas. Like assassinating your own citizens without trial.

I did get an e-mail from the telegraph even though I have never bought their paper in my life, nor look at their website (beyond when it is linked) and never had an e-mail from them before. Bit concerning.
