Men who post lots of selfies are more likely to be psychopaths

This woman dates my cousin, they both hate eachother and always break up then get back together. One day he was trying to gtfo and she beat the shit out of him. The called the cops and she freaked out locked herself in the room and gave herself a black eye. He instantly got arrested even though he was all bloody and now has a criminal record. She posts a shit ton of selfies.

What the hell, how is that even fair? Where did they even get evidence that he punched her (when he didn't). That's a really horrible story, sorry for your cousin :/

Always believe in your Selfie! YOLO!

Someone else took this pic, so I gues I'm good?
I wonder about this too, although i pretty much never take selfies and i don't post much pics either so i guess i'm kind of safe either way.

So the lesson I learned this morning is that last night when I spent half an hour in the parking lot after work taking just the right selfie and the editing it just so that my disembodied head was floating in a sea of black is that I'm having some real problems in life!

I have already sent a link to this article to my girlfriend. We'll both share a hearty chuckle.

Well there is SOMETHING wrong with them, that's for sure.
The amount of people i blocked from social media just because they think it's fun for me to look at their fucking face again and again...

Yeah, I totally believe it, anyone who will spend literally hours of their day getting the perfect shot of their face has at least some problems.

Anyone who is obsessed about themselves in the way that they take endless selfies no doubt is narcissistic. Don't know what it has to do with gender though.

I think OP is just trying to create a divide between the rpj people and the not fun people. With a Metro article even, i´m a little bit disappointed tbh.

Same. I don't mind the odd solo selfie picture every now and again, say every few months or so, but the amounts of times I've seen the same identical expression and angle from the same person with differing backdrops is ridiculous. It's such an unnatural angle as well, just get a friend to take a good, well-framed picture of yourself people, it's not that difficult.

Not surprised. Used to know one of those type. So full of himself, he lacks the ability to be an interesting person to talk.

People who take lots of selfies and use filters to edit shots scored even higher for anti-social behaviour such as narcissism, an obsession with one’s own appearance.

well you don't fucking say

Badly written article. You can tell with all the recent studies on psychopathy, like that other one with the scientist who discovered he fit the description itself, that it's really time to start re-evaluating the heavy stigmas surrounding the condition. We have this image of psychopaths being some sort of menace to society who need to be locked away. But it's a far more common trait in humans than what we initially thought, and there are plenty of well-adjusted "psychopaths" who function as normal as anyone else in society.

Its a double standard. He pretty much only tried to keep her off him. When he tried to get his things to leave and his hands werent blocking she tore his face up.

When you have a thousand domestic violence PSAs with a woman as a victim every single time, the police won't even think that a woman could possibly hurt a man. It's an example of how media affects us.

It's odd that they studied a behavior exhibited by both genders but only dug into the underlying psychologies of one gender.
