Story time. A warning about levi.com from your friend Dice. I ordered some Levis in this big sale they had. One pair were some corduroys, which came in greatly damaged.
At first it seemed like scratches and mechanical things, but upon closer examination of the permanent impressions, it was obviously department store hangers with the clips on them. The whole hanger shape and the clips are clearly impressed into the fabric, and there is even a part where it looks like the button of another pair of jeans.
The best guess I have is they just tossed like hundreds of these things on top of each other in a truck or something, until they were under hundreds of pounds of pressure, doing permanent damage to the fabric. There are also some parts just plain scuffed so the ridges are flat. I dunno WTF happened here but I give them another chance and, I decide to send this pair back and order a replacement.
They send me a pair with the exact same problem... AND short change me $7.99 on the return of the first pair. There was no restocking fee, I got it on a deal for free returns, and I marked the return reason code for "Defective" on the return form. So I have sent them an email about it and hopefully they will make it right, because their policy says "a full refund" and fuck if I'm going to lose $16 dollars on two shortchanged returns when they are the ones who sent me damaged stuff.
If they decide to be assholes and make excuses and not return my money... I'm not sure what action I should take. I paid Paypal (no transaction fees on the PP transaction so that isn't the shortchanging, and it isn't stated in Levi's policy anyway), so is there some way I could dispute through them? I don't know. Hopefully it is handled correctly.

Love it, just my kind of jacket.My Nike x Fragment Design Lab Harrington arrived yesterday. So glad I managed to get the last Medium of End Clothing and it feels similar to chambray rather than feeling like Nike's tech fabric. Nice and light too, so good for both an Indian summer and for spring.

Yeah, I was actually curious at how the fabric was going to be, considering it's Nike and all, but it doesn't even feel like their sportswear stuff. I love that it actually feels like a regular jacket you'd buy from some other clothier versus something you'd get from Nike itself.
Same, which is why I jumped on getting it once I saw the countdown timer on End. Originally there was another jacket I was interested in, then I saw the Harrington and decided on that one instead. Again, was a good thing as the other jacket was pretty much sold out by the site refreshed and for the Harrington, they were already down to their last medium (which I bought).
Now to see if I will splurge on a Baracuta G9 this holiday season... Will probably pick the dark navy, as I like how it nearly looks black in certain lighting conditions.

BLK DNM has blue denim jackets for around $800 - $1000. Lewis Leathers will custom die a leather jacket any color you want for $1300ish. It's also worth checking out vintage stores for jackets in the $100-$400 range.
And, of course, Balmain.
