He meant KP/ Kojima wont be at GDC for a stage event. He's probably just interested in a Games Developers Conference you know? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I agree with this. I think that it is GDC is just coincidence,

I'm hoping for a cheap LE. I don't know that I can afford another 150 dollar LE this year.

Same here. Just give me a artbook. But I wouldn't mind a robot arm.

I think I'm going to cancel my TW3 CE as well. I'm going to go digital, the question now is Steam or GOG.
Yeah it's just a lot of money for what is basically junk once the excitement wears off. 150 bucks for the physical LE versus 50 on Gog for digital. Should be a no brainer

Also, that is very nice of you asking about me :3
I was looking for the post to see exactly what you said but I couldn't find it xD

It was in the Telegram chat. Which you should make an account and join ;)

And I just remember joining you were one of the "MGS OT Celebs" and I hadn't seen you. We always remember our brothers, and enough have fallen victim recently

This interview is long but thought you guys might find it interesting. Ryan Payton talks about his experience meeting Hideo Kojima, joining Kojima Productions, rising through the ranks and working on MGS4/MGS:pO and then why he left.

31:12 to 34:20 is particulary telling for what stage we're at now. He basically suggests with Konami games they pump out all these trailers and hype at all these conventions, but at some stage (like we're at now) they have to buckle down and realize they need to release a real game that lives up to that hype. That's probably why they've been so silent recently.

Almost the same pieces of info he gave in an earlier interview back in March last year: https://www.idlethumbs.net/tonecontrol/episodes/ryan-payton
