What do you guys have in your metal gear collections? So far I just own all the mainline games (and portable ops). And the MGS HD collection limited edition.

Anyone have anything cool in theirs?

I only have the normal collection with 2/3/PW, and I own 4 seperately and 1 on PSN.

But I got the rising limited edition collection during Black Friday. It came with a cool steelbook and one of those lights that has electricity when you touch it but it stopped working

I've literally played every single game in the series and rented a PS3 just to play MGS4.

Bought a Gamecube for TTS, and loved every second of it, fuck the haters. It was awesome.

I did Big Boss runs for MGS3 and 4, attempted 2 and almost got it but I fucked up towards the end and decided to never attempt that nightmare ever again.

I bought a PSP for Portable Ops and PW, played ACID and didn't really like it. I also unfortunately didn't like PW at all except for the ideas behind the Basebuilding stuff which was also in PO. Some of the cool stuff about The Boss in the game was good too, but most of the story was garbage.

That said, MGSV gives me Snake Eater vibes and I love the gameplay systems in place and I am excited at the mere fact that we've realistically seen very little of the game, have no real idea what the story is going to completely be about besides BIG BOSS GOES EVIL AND BUILDS OUTER HEAVEN FOR REAL THIS TIME.

Hype? I can't even begin to describe it, MGS3 came at a time in my life when I was at my worst and raised me up. Will the same happen with TPP? I can only hope, I just know in my heart that for me, the series finally ends here with this final A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME.

Honestly, I didn't think we were getting another Mainline MGS title after MGS4 and I was fine with that. When this was announced I had so many emotions, and as the trailers and details came down the pipe and I played GZ... I can feel it in my bones, the masterpiece is coming.

I just hope my CE arrives on Day one at GS, otherwise I will be so fucking butthurt that I will have to wait to play this potential masterpiece on my TV and PS4

Also, I will be posting more often since I got my stitches out and I am finally able to use my arm again. I LIVE ON...THROUGH THIS ARM.

Yes, one thing I hate about PW is the online trophies. You need to coordinate with someone now of days if you want to get the platinum.

Yes, I feel it was pure luck that I could get those PW online trophies without too much hassle.

I have a Japanese copy of MGS1 in plastic wrap, and basically all the major titles minus PW, PO in physical copies. However I don't have the Legacy collection. Collection stuff though I have a few Revoltech figures, the MGR Collectors Edition with the lamp, the iDroid iPhone case replica, and that's basically it.

And auto aim is in every console game so no need to make a fuss about it.

You clearly did not play Max Payne 3's multiplayer. Auto aim fucking ruined it. The games that did not use it were empty and dead.

When it has auto aim, it's about who can press L1/L2 faster than the other.

Hope you're not confusing it with aim assist, which is the game pushing slightly the camera towards your apparent target while aiming. It still bothers me, but at least it doesn't insult my skill in gaming like auto aiming.

Hope it's not on by default, but who am I kidding. Most will have it on. Will make me have it on too since I will always lose against someone with auto aiming.

Double post but I dont care. In MGS3 Snake was too much of a nerd about his guns. But I hope there are still some tapes that go into this kind of equipment talk. Especially because some of you are too butthurt about fake guns

I never said that.

I was hyped for the Battlefront game because I loved the first Battlefront and played the campaign so many times. I didn't know there would be a total focus on multiplayer. I'm just not someone who is into multiplayer games that much. I will just never buy a game with a heavy multiplayer focus, it's not for me. I prefer something like Wolfenstein over Titanfall.

It's been a while, but wasn't OG Battlefront's "campaign" basically going through the exact same levels you would in MP, but with the enemy being controlled by bots instead of people? It's way more Titanfall than Wolfenstein, in that respect.
