Can we talk for a minute about boss battles? Given the mechanics of the game, in an open world setting no less, can you imagine how zany the boss encounters could possibly be? I'd be willing to bet one battle requires tinkering with the phantom cigar in some way. I've got my fingers crossed regarding PW like encounter's though. No more of that grindy butt shit please.

Yep. I've got high expectations for boss fights.
In regards to the tank battles in PW where you have to take out all the soldiers. I loathed them but I wonder if something like that could work in the TPP. With as big as the maps are, we would have so many options of approach. There would need to be a variety though, and not just a tank with soldiers.

With mgs1 it was the second controller port for mantis.
Mgs2 was rose telling you to turn off the console.

I'd hope with such a big open world we can finally have a fight that rivals The End in terms of the amount of ways to approach it. Both during the battle and outside the battle. MGS4 was pretty disappointing with it's bosses following up on 3.
Maybe we'll end up having a crazy Sniper fight with Quiet considering we've seen her being tortured by Ocelot and Big Boss flat out saying he'll have to kill her.

I've triple dipped with GTAV (playing at launch on PS3, then ps4 and pc). I don't regret it because I've enjoyed it so much but I'm just trying to rationalize it... I probably shouldn't be doing that, even if I can afford to. grrrrrrr!
Maybe I'll find some other game to keep me busy till sept 15th!

What does Metal Gear mean to you guys...i been thinking that since V is really going to be the final Metal Gear, how much has the series played apart in your life?
I think the majority here will be on PS4.
I have the CE pre-ordered for PS4. I'll get the PS3 and PC version eventually.

Continuing about the PC/PS4 debacle, I think I'll try to wait for PC and avoid the boards for that two weeks, but the bigger problem is I love the movement with the gamepad but aiming not so much, and on the other hand aiming with mouse is great but moving with keyboard is not.
To be honest aiming is more important if I end up playing Metal Gear Online but still...

Yeah, it got pretty crazy, and it was going round in circles when it was already debunked, should've been closed when someone posted pictures of the actor Kojima said they got to play the doctor.
