Did you guys observed how Konami are letting the press play almost the first 25 hours of the game before launch? According to Kojima, the game will easily last 100 hours. So by rough estimates the press has already played 25% of the game.
I am sure that 25% of the game includes heavy story elements. Why would Konami allow them to play so much of the game?
I am intrigued as to what the rest of the game holds.

I dunno, I can't really see any advantage or disadvantage over either method except that the Dualshock's d-pad feels really uncomfortable on my thumb.
That's why I even use the stick with games that *do* objectively control more precise with the d-pad, like the classic tank-control Resident Evils or the MSX Metal Gears for that matter.
Actually, there is one advantage when using the stick in MGS1. You can look around gradually, instead of just snapping your neck in a direction.

Boss, you are missing the point. Several journos have played till Episode 13 on day one. The preview is going on for a few more days. These impressions are just for day one.
Need some clarification here. If my memory serves well, aren't each of the chapters broken into episodes? I feel like a lot of the early reviewers saying things like "I made it to Chapter 13" are confusing that with the episodes.
So, if the Chinese leak is right about chapters is it possible these people are only on, like, episode 13 of chapter 1?

I think this is the case. But someone else paying more attention can give a definite yes or no. But my impression is that they are just playing segments of the first chapter.

Oo-hoo-hoooo I'm interested to know. I only played MGO on MGS3. It was just once at a friends house, but I liked the concept. The way it's shapinp up now I bet I'd really love it.
