Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Announced - Master Collection coming in Autumn 2023 | PlayStation Showcase

Strange how a franchise of that importance got a so terrible trailer. They're not even trying anymore.

Is like they're counting with us to promove this game.

That is actually what I want. The updated textures in those were faithful to the originals and didn't change how the games looked.

I still can't get over how bad this was. Literally Pachinko-tier.

I could come up with 40 better and more creative ways to reveal a MGS3 remake than this drab, boring, lifeless, uninspired, soulless garbage. This game's lore, gameplay, visuals and music are literally iconic. In fact, it's amazing they ended up with such a bad trailer because holy shit.
 
Too bad there was no game play tease, but I just hope all of them are coming to Steam as well finally! Remaster or not, I'd love to play them again with proper support on a modern system (just the same as the classic RE games, I'm still hoping for them one day)

Hopefully 2 and 3 will not have the same incomplete graphics (missing post processing effects) like in ps3 HD release. But i know it will.

Gals Kojima is not involved by the way as this will probably spare us the embarrassing parts in the writing. Looking forward to play a MG again without cringy dialogue.

Yeah once he started sniffing his own farts and people stopped telling him "No" he kind of lost something in his game making. He just got way to weird.

I mean in 4, Ocelot could have been possessed by Liquid due to his dad being a medium. Instead it was nanites and acting. Fucking dumb.

And lets not get started on 5 and "If you think your Snake, you don't need training!" BS.

That's still more trustworthy at this point than a remake without Kojima. Not saying it will be bad, but still we've seen both outcomes over the years with some remakes.

Metal Gear Solid Triangle? Dumb that they didn't show any gameplay.

The 4K screenshots look good, but I'm honestly more excited for the MGS collection volume 1.
It's been years since I've played MGS1
 
They could have just showed some clips of what we see in the pictures and it would have been much better than the trailer.
Still, MGS is back. Wow. Brings me back to the time I used to wait years for the next one. No Kojima this time though, we'll see.
 
To the person who greenlit this shower of shit showing for such a beloved franchise that many grew up loving on PS1, PS2 and PS3.

Yea I should have been more explicit.. I'm more curious about the collection if its coming to PC... dont see any platforms on the site for that
