That vegetation and level of detail is sublime.

Looks like it will be very faithful to the original even with the level design. I hope they make the enviroments larger. I want to explore the whole Groznyj Grad. There were so many areas you couldn't go.

Can't say I'm interested much at the moment I'm not a fan of faithful remakes no matter how good they look. Shadow of the Colossus for example just felt weird without all that PS2 blur. If you want nostalgia that's what CRT's are for.

It doesn't look like an improvement from MGSV :/ Seems they're doing the least amount of graphical improvement they can get away with. It looks as good as other new games, but this isn't pushing the boundaries of what you'd expect from a next-gen game like Demon Souls Remake and TLOU2.

I'm guessing the version of Phantom Pain will be the complete version which already has it, just like MGS3 will be Subsistence, not vanilla Snake Eater.
Really wanna see these collections hit PC, I'm assuming they will be doing the pre-Solid games too?

There are already several collection versions of these games. Only so many times I can keep buying the same games over and over again.

I wonder why Metal Gear Solid 4 is still in jeopardy (the guy who hinted at both the remake and the Master Collection said that a future Vol. 2 will include Peace Walker, Rising and even Portable Ops, but not MGS4)

Maybe is for that iPod feature? (I mean, even if there's a licensing/royalties conflict with Apple, they could get rid of it pretty easily and replace it with another device)

So now with Konami actually back in the game with both MGS games and Silent Hill, now I'm really hoping there's some proper Castlevania stuff cooking somewhere in the background as well

A 2D-HD Remake of Castlevania III or Symphony of The Night would be absolute greatness

This is fucked.

I like Rising, love it even.

But the Metal Gear *SOLID* collection needs MGS4. Not Rising.

Some things to take away from all these reveals, seeing as Metal Gear 2 3 and Peacewalker up until now was only available to play on today's systems on the Xbox's it was only natural that Sony's console should have similar if not more so with the added bonus of MGS-1 before this you couldn't play any of the Metal Gear games apart from 5 and Ground Zeros on the Playstation 4 and 5...the other thing being Konami are making out this new remake as a "standalone" release...hence why they removed the part 3 to it...and instead put that symbol...as if it is some sort of new entry in the series....end of the day lets face it we aren't going to get a Metal Gear Solid 6 let alone any new spin off coming anytime soon....out of everything for me personally the only one worth somewhat of an interest will be the Portable Ops release..otherwise this Autumn re-release collection isn't necessarily bringing anything new to the table...these aren't exactly "directors cut" versions...

"Play the games as they were, as first released"
I don't like that wording 🤨
