I guess this means we won't have to worry about that abysmal vegetation pop-in that was prevalent in those TPP gameplay videos. Thank fuck. Now let's see if they've sorted the hair dithering.
3. no pop-in in the TGS jungle gameplay demo
1. judging pop-in on an UNFINISHED game, not very smart
2. Afghanistan gameplay videos were still "early stage" according to Kojima
3. no pop-in in the TGS jungle gameplay demo
4. they're constantly working on the game

Or you could wait to see how it performs on various rigs on release and then buy the PC version. This is going to be a tough choice at this point. Do you risk getting the PC version which could possibly not run well on your system when the PS4 version will still run at 1080p 60fps...

What this also does is make me want MGS4 ported even more. (Yeah I actually liked that game, sue me)
I wonder what performance I can expect with my 750 Ti.
Or should I be more concerned with my Q9450 (OC'd to 2.8Ghz)?
Isn't this frustum culling? Occlusion culling is when they're not visible because they're behind other objects.
Hm.... Now how am I going to raise the $4k necessary to build my computer before this comes out?
Kickstarter.

Am I blind, or does PC version lacks water splashes when rain drops hit the ground? Maybe it is just a bad timing of a screenshot.
Here seems to be some splashes:Am I blind, or does PC version lacks water splashes when rain drops hit the ground? Maybe it is just a bad timing of a screenshot.
At least I thought it was, considering that the difference to PS4 seems like one of the largest in recent memory to me (based on the massive increase in geometry, light and foliage LoD distance on top of the new effects).hmm, very underwhelming...
It's timing, there are splashes in the back.Am I blind, or does PC version lacks water splashes when rain drops hit the ground? Maybe it is just a bad timing of a screenshot.
I guess that, like in almost all recent games, the best quality will be provided by post-AA + downsampling.I've noticed there doesnt seem to be much in the way of anti-aliasing options. Really hope they sort that out
It's a rather small difference compared to this, IMHO. Especially since LoD popup is even more noticeable in motion.
