If you upgrade your idroid you could see items on your map. If the idroid's voice is annoying just mute it.

I've never played a Metal Gear before and got Ground Zeroes through xbl gold for free but have not played yet.... Is it worth going into this series with no knowledge of this series at all?
Target has this plus a free copy of Ground Zeroes with purchase, but GZ on PS4 is not available in stores?

Play Ground Zeroes and check out the gameplay. I think this is the best that Metal Gear has ever played.... By far.
If you like Splinter Cell Blacklist, I imagine you would like this.

Highly doubtful given the franchise has been one of the few that has been regarded for its convoluted storytelling. It would be best for find a copy of the Legacy Collection for the PS3 which bundles every previous installment into a single set. Play through everything in release order to appreciate the evolution in game-play and accessibility in comprehending the twists and turns in the narrative.
Nah, if you liked Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, this would be liked.
I don't think I've had this much fun in a third-person stealth game since Chaos Theory.

Not right now but, in general yes, that's the version I'm playing.
There's no specific performance issues to note, I don't think. The Fox Engine appears to be voodoo regardless of platform. The Xbox One version looks and plays fantastic as far as I can tell.
I'm playing it, it runs fine, looks great, totally a "valid" version of the game to play
Patch only out for PS4? On the One version. D:
Ground Zeroes patch isn't out, but the day one patch has been out for the last few days on Xbox One

Chaos Theory is amazing, but I think it's much more viable to be lethal in MGSV. In Chaos Theory if you got caught and the jig was up, you might as well just restart cause you don' fucked up.
In MGSV, you can easily shoot your way out of a confrontation and the game doesn't severely penalize you for it. That's why I mentioned Blacklist.

What wasn't simple about the MGS3 story lol? MGS2(especially the ending) messed up my head as a teen (in a good way). We would have to wait 7 years for a sequel to find out what happened, and by the time everyone completed MGS4 and went back to MGS2, they saw how supreme the game was and still is(well, some of us...)

The "4.5GB" is basically the launcher, the rest of the games content downloads after that
