I'm late to the OT party, but I've had this thing preordered since March...almost time for those of us waiting for the official release!
I'm physical so not sure.
Save Data upload patch is also out for PS3, need someone to check 360, PC Steam version shouldn't have a patch
No but really, I'm not. I have yet to complete Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes.

I'm so disgusted with this console. I had my system in rest mode all day, assuming the purchase would just start - but no. As soon as I turned the system back on (just now, when I got home from work), it started downloading. I probably won't be able to get it in time now.
Is there any sort of refund option for PSN games that aren't played or fully downloaded? I might as well just get the game at midnight now physically, there's no way I can download ~40-50GB in 24 hours.

So mislead by the explanation caption under the Rest Mode option in the PS Menu - says the console can still download updates in Rest Mode, maybe because it's a full game and not an "update" it didn't trigger? No idea what happened - maybe my system actually turned off and wasn't in rest mode. Sigh.
Save data transfer to TPP
I'm sure this can be... arranged.
There are unloackables for rescuing the unique soldiers in Ground Zeroes, but they are being coy about other unlocks in the Phantom Pain.
Cool thanks! Were the precise transfers discovered? Wanna make sure having a 99% in GZ won't shaft me.

The code is for a different bonus, it triggered on my Xbox One copy, it's just additional motherbase soldiers that will join during the progression of the story.
We don't know until the servers go up
Supposedly the full list of unlocks was leaked, but I haven't peeked at it.

Does anyone know of a safe place to get 100% save files from Ground Zeroes? Spent a lot of time with the PS4 version and don't want to repeat it again with the PC version. Have completed all of the missions except one in the latter, but I'm not grinding out percentages again and I want the bonuses.

So I was checking my iDroid riding D-horse to put a marker for a nearby sideop. Suddenly I was droped of D-horse, only to realise that I was being attacked by a bear.
It chased me, and it killed me. My only death in 5 hours of gameplay is because of a damn bear that went berserk against Big Boss.

PP update is out too. However, the server still isn't. So, you can upload on the GZ side, but not recover it in PP yet.
The patch in PP changed other stuff too. Just installed it, but I already noticed that in the Development screen, weapons now denote whether or not staff can also use then in FOB mode.

Good lord. You're in for a hell of ride.
Save data transfer. Physical copies come with a code that allows you to transfer your GZ save data which unlocks stuff based on what you did in your GZ save. Digital copies will be able to transfer without the code.
I'll tag what it most likely unlocks (but not confirmed 100%):
Mother Base unlocks:
-Any prisoners extracted will be sent to become staff for your Mother Base.
-Any special VIPs like Hideo Kojima or Glaz and Palitz will be transferred to your Mother Base and become staff.
-Any special soldiers such as the bald soldier and spy in the Classified Intel side-op will transfer over and become part of your staff
Do note all of these will vary in how useful they will be for your Mother Base but Hideo Kojima will be highly useful because in Peace Walker he was part of R&D and had very high R&D stats. Which helped to allow you gain access to make powerful weapons much more quickly. I'm sure Glaz and Palitz will also be highly valued but we'll see what happens.

MGS1 Snake and MGS1 Grey Fox will transfer over which can be unlocked by completing the Deja Vu mission on Normal and Hard respectively. To unlock this mission, you must collect the 9 XOF patches in the main Ground Zeroes mission.
Raiden will transfer over (and possibly the other armor color skins such as Green, White, and Red but those are not confirmed), to get Raiden you must collect all the XOF patches in the main mission to unlock Jaimus Vu and then you have to complete Jaimus Vu on Normal and Hard respectively to unlock all of his armor colors

So, it's technically very minor stuff but some of the skins have unique attributes that will offer you new tactics to approach missions.
