Its taken from the manual. Its says its starts in free roam mode first. You use the Idroid to look for matches. So many assume it open free roam like in GTA4 or GTAO.

Yes, you get one FOB, which allows you to do MP and to send a maximum of two (2) Combat Units out for missions in SP.
If you want more Combat Units, you need more FOB's.

Maybe it's like GTAIV when you're looking for multiplayer match while away from a mission on your phone. I guess we'll find out. That would be a cool surprise as to why they were so quiet.

That would be good news. That's what GTA Online should have done. A 'beta' at GTA 's release for stability patches for a later Online release.

Tranq her, then you are giving the option of killing her when you walk up to her or sparing her life. Notice she has two health bars.

Nice! Though it's cutting it kind of close. Whatever helps so the actual release not be a disaster.
I don't think it'll be like GTA Online. Just having some fun about that. I'm curious what you'll actually be able to do in free roam, otherwise why have it beyond shooting ranges? Could've just launched from menus as in the past.

I used the sniper rifle on her because I couldn't get close enough to tranq and still got the option to not finish her off

Sounds like the graphics card overheating.
That would be stereotypical unstable over clock or best instability on PC.
I hate these companies cheaping out on TIM. Do you really have to cut costs to the point where you are worried about a few cents per unit? Intel did the same thing with their latest CPUs, you have to pop the lid with a fucking vice to change the TIM.

This game is, legitimately, awesome. This could have been the future of Metal Gear Solid.... they got one chance to make MGS Open World and they NAILED it.

I am playing on PS4 and just got to Africa. That did make me wonder how better certain things will look on the PC. Don't get me wrong, it still looks good...especially with that sweet sweet 60fps.
But yes.....choose wisely.
So I preordered on PSN, and I'm supposed to get a bunch of extras. (Fatigues, etc,) but while the game has downloaded, these keep giving errors. Is it because the game isn't out yet?

Some of the impressions here are affirming my fears that the game lacks the story pacing and immersion I was hoping for. After playing GZ a few times there are only so many times I want to do random missions on military bases I have visited before that don't tie into the story.
