Yep, I farmed one of those infinite enemy-spawning devices for about 20-30 minutes during the Kriegante Castle dungeon and managed to get around 400k (I'd say it was a good time/money investment lol).
So far, every archetype has its purpose. Each quest cries out for a particular combination. Certain synthesis attacks can be the difference between curbstomping the boss and just scraping by.
This and also your build has big impact to how effective archetype can be…I particularly like Fist class because it has high critical rate uses HP resource for its Skill which is important when it comes MP management.
I also got this spoiled for me by some other dude with absolutely no empathy. I took a hesitant peek back here again today, but you should probably just not participate if you are as sensitive as I am.Watch out for those spoilers, man.

I will say the escape being 100% actually is possible with a level up in a social link with a NPC at like level 7 of 8 if I recall.

Yeah I feel pretty demotivated in continuing playing at this rate. The boredom is really starting to set in as I don't find any of the story beats or characters particularly interesting. Having OT2 as the last TB JRPG I played, maybe my expectations were a bit too high. Shame because I think the combat is real solid.
I would say the story gets interesting in the start when it's revealing its world, again in the middle at the dragon isle, and I'm hoping it ends strong.

Yeah the other monsters in the tower are also 46 for the owl birds, 50 for a necromancer summoner skeleton, some high 40s griffons as well. 48?

The demo absolutely gives you the fundamental idea what the gameplay is like. If you keep playing the "extra" 3 days after the initial main story of the demo, you'll also get to understand how the gameplay loop works.

I'm no expert, but I haven't had any of those issues. It takes minimum effort to organize your party into a decent configuration (which you can do on the fly if it isn't working out). The calendar is extremely forgiving, but I have yet to come across a quest that I felt I couldn't tackle with what I had on hand.

Amazing, geniunely one of the dumbest storylines I have ever witnessed in an JRPG. And I have witnessed a good bunch. The fact that so many reviewers praised this utterly amateurish and shallow writing as anything but complete garbage is beyond me.
Hopefully the motherfucker doesn't thrust head first or the dude is gonna need a good proctologist.

It's impatience born from the game prior to that 30h mark wasting time repeating character traits and story nuances I didn't need repeating a dozen times. Brevity is the soul of wit and all that. I can say the pacing improves dramatically when you recognize what scenes are skippable (most of the optional dialogue). Luckily the turn based gameplay is really good. The system allows so many various strategies to be had.
I usually try to do the side Dungeons first but thats up to you!

I've only been buying these games day one due to GameStop's fantastic 50% trade in bonus towards new games (along with an overall raise in trade-in values).
The game is very flexible. So far, I haven't seen any time crunches or missable content. You can do the quests whenever, bond events whenever, build your party however you like. There is plenty of time and "mag" to spare.
