MGS Ground Zeroes editing tools released

LOL Chico gameplay.

it's kojima, i bet he's laughing his ass off at these

I don't think they're too happy with this. I think ya'll just delayed the game for a few months

Can all enemy soldiers be changed into MGS1 Shadow Moses models, BB into MGS1 Solid Snake, Chico into Psycho Mantis, Paz into Cyborg Ninja and Morpho into Hind D?

That would be very nice "nostalgic" mission. :)

Or turn Chico and Paz into the Darpa Chief and Kenneth Baker respectively, and turn Skullface into Psycho Mantis.

not a mod, but because these seems to be the gif OT right now: can some one gif snake running out of the camp?
the transition from gameplay to cutscene looks so weird.
his little bounce.

How about swapping the chopper model with the fighter jet's? That'd be pretty cool to call in for fire support.

Holy shit @ realtime reflection. Though thinking about it how else would they have done it?

The PS360 versions do it, it's not a big deal.

I bet KojiPro will be locking the files down hard for TTP after seeing these shenanigans. :P

It might not seem like it now but this one was pretty locked down to begin with. All it takes though is someone to give enough of a shit, and Sergeanur donned the eyepatch and cigar for us all.

You will probably be able to easily achieve PS4 level of visuals while maintaining 60fps. It is a well optimized game, especially if you have intel+nvidia combo.

Kojima mentioned that they put a lot of manual work for animating them for that opening sequence. They probably were not part of GZ because they were not needed, or maybe it is a simple reason of "it was too early" in dev cycle. We saw that wolves/dogs will roam the wilds of Afhanistan, and that TPP already have fully animated DD.

I think that lot of visual enhancements that were introduced in PC version of GZ will become part of TPP on consoles [better reflections for example].
What about me with an old Core 2 Duo and HD4870 card? :lol

Personally, I think Kojima is sitting at his desk with a bottle of scotch, hammering F5 for more model swaps. Hell, let's not forget that MGS2 had Casting Theater, which let players do exactly this but with even more character models.

I think this is more accurate. I have to admit I forgot that these very antics were actually a certified feature of MGS2....

Can confirm this works to no ill effect (for the five minutes I've spent with it). Seems as though it might have been an arbitrary cap all along.

Need to test it more. IIRC someone found the framerate earlier but it bugs out on cutscenes or something.

Think we can expect a content update / mechanics update to Ground Zeroes when TPP launches to make them feel more similar?
