Very true, here you go:doesn't apply, activision was completely rotten before ms bought them lol
all of their own accord
ok. congrats MS. Hope all studios acquired are enough.
While the CMA has identified limited residual concerns with the new deal, Microsoft has put forward remedies which the CMA has provisionally concluded should address these issues.
The CMA is now consulting on the remedies before making a final decision
I thought the whole reason the CMA was against behavioral remedies was because they didn’t want to be the ones having to enforce things? To address these concerns, Microsoft has offered remedies to ensure that the terms of the sale of Activision’s rights to Ubisoft are enforceable by the CMA. The CMA has provisionally concluded that this additional protection should resolve those residual concerns.
Did they really?Well, CMA still got what they've wanted. A new restructured deal in the end.
…
They never added my option … so ….Show us what you voted for first:

Right now only 99 people are undeserving of crow.
Ubisoft won't be delivering cloud streaming. They'll just be handling the licensing required for ABK games to appear on all cloud services as a hedge against Microsoft hoarding ABK games for their own service. Microsoft will have to license ABK games for cloud just like everyone else. Can anyone explain to me like I'm 5 what benefit the CMA have brought to UK consumers with all this?
I forsee a barrage of complaints to Ubisoft because cloud streaming is dogshit and queue times are too long.
Everyone is probably going to download ABK games from GamePass anyway..
So we can expect the Ubisoft acquisition notice to drop inOne interesting point
Microsoft is forbidden from acquiring Ubisoft or shares of Ubisoft for the next 10 years because of this modified deal.
Add a couple of days for leap yearsSo we can expect the Ubisoft acquisition notice to drop in 3651 days …
Well I only said one year because of Sony marketing deal with Activision.New Black Ops day 1 on Gamepass? Oh boy.
So was this behavourial concession or structural concession?

Watch them come up with a blockage of the deal for a different concerns.
They did the same thing first time. They were like we don't see the problem based on facts we got, just to announce few weeks later " oh the online thing is a problem. It's the cloud man "
They highlighted cloud was still a concern when they said there were no console related issues.Watch them come up with a blockage of the deal for a different concerns.

I guess they could only do so much with the FTC being powerless and EU being cucklords.I thought the whole reason the CMA was against behavioral remedies was because they didn’t want to be the ones having to enforce things?![]()
Isn't world of warcraft already free to play without needing an extra barrier to entry? At BlizzCon: "Link your Battle.net and Xbox accounts and access World of Warcraft with your Gamepass subscription!"
And before you say that'll never happen, Gamepass on PC links with Riot to give you EVERY character in League of Legends, Valorant, Wild Rift, etc.
Saddest thing about purchasing a company that pulls in 2 Billion a year for a purchase price of 69 Billion...
It wont change anything for Microsoft. Not the Market share, momentum, or mindshare because it's still on PS platforms.

It's free to play up to level 20No it's still $15 a month. WoW and FFXIV are the only MAJOR MMOs still with a monthly fee.
It's free to play up to level 20
And what if this goes the other way, and Microsoft start insisting you have a game pass subscription to be able to play it?

unless you can demonstrate how Phil Spencer has in the past decade revived anything?
"I was looking at the IP list, I mean, let's go! 'King's Quest,' 'Guitar Hero.' ... I should know this but I think they got 'HeXen.'"
It would be if gamepass stayed at $15 a month, which I highly doubt it will now they are going to have to start subsidizing WOW and call of dutyUnless they raise the price of PC Gamepass, that'd be better since PC Gamepass is less than WoW monthly.
But even at $15 isn't Gamepass a better deal if you get WoW + all of the PC games + access to everything in Riot games?
cool, now show all the other shirts he’s worn on stage and how many of them actually get games madeHe's said he wants to bring back Hexen. Probably will be the first ABK IP they announced, maybe pulling Raven off CoD support and letting them do it.

I think it's pretty nailed on COD is going to turn into some microtransaction laden free to play game now, which is probably why they arent that bothered about having COD as an excvlusive, they won't be making any money from game sales from it anyway
fixed!Add a couple of days for leap years
What? It's $100 a year (no one buys the base game LOL)

Kotick is still in charge.
okay that’s one, but he’s also worn a Jet Force Gemini shirt which resulted in nothing
