it means that he had to buy a PS5What does that mean?
Ok so if it's not intentional, who's problem is that?Sony is doing this because resources at a major studio are not infinite. It is impossible to achieve 100% parity for all platforms. When CoD moves over to Xbox, it's in the same boat - studio resources shift over to Xbox, and PS will be a lesser priority and thus have worse performance, bugs, etc.
time and budget.Ok so if it's not intentional, who's problem is that?
it means that he had to buy a PS5
exactly. So did Tim Dog and Dealer.
So what?
exactly.
Why are you asking him? He isn't the one telling the CMA that MS doing stuff like this could lead to a catastrophe for Playstation.
Why don't you guys grow the habit of reading a few posts for context before hitting the reply button?
Don't you get it?
He has a PlayStation 5.What does that mean?
why PS has 2/4 of the screen?legend say that fusing these

Even then I remember friends buying an Xbox just to play those maps earlyRead my post above. One month early DLC is not the same as locking features and modes off other platforms for the life of the game.
Hell, the Xbox version of COD is barely playable anymore since the ability to disable cross play is exclusive to the PS version. The toggle was there in the XB beta, but they removed it at launch
It conquered half of the land.why PS has 2/4 of the screen?
It has to devour the remainings first.only if SIE is incharge
He has a PlayStation 5.
It's a weird flex.

moving goal posts now? really?I dunno, reality?
MLB The Show has a proven engine running on Playstation hardware for a very long time. Why would Sony prioritize resources for Xbox? Why would Microsoft prioritize CoD resources for Playstation?
moving goal posts now? really?
It's the #Sonytoo tag I got because I pointed out a few things lol. Mods said they would remove it after seeing other post praising PS but in the end I said leave it
agreedparity this, parity that. FK it man. Can we move the subject to something else.
Probably not until next week and if we get inklings of the working remedy paper.parity this, parity that. FK it man. Can we move the subject to something else.
Doubt you want to be labeled that way.
Hope we got something at least.Probably not until next week and if we get inklings of the working remedy paper.

As cornhole says, we like receipts here famI'll believe you if you prove it. Surely you can show us a DM. It's not difficult to do.

I saw the DM with the mod. I won't go to any great detail with it. He did tell them he was fine with the tag. But there's more to the story that I won't get into.
I apologise for saying he didn't want to keep the tag. But I still have issues with something else he said but I won't go into it since its derailing this topic.
They were going to change it to M$FT like darkmage but he preferred #SonyToo? /sBanjo64

There's only one best tag and we all know whose it is.
Sony should have capitalized when Microsoft was desperate to get Sony to sign a 10 year deal, Microsoft probably would have caved to some demands. But ehh, that's Monday Morning Quarterbacking.Theres still difference in spreading fear and making unfair demands.
Spreading fear to make you look like the victim and making demands to make you the Victor has two opposite side effects.
WTF, Microsoft is buying Splatoon now also?Probably not until next week and if we get inklings of the working remedy paper.
So can't CoD's success be emulated? In the UK we've bought everything and anything that is good. Even the RaspberryPI has been a huge success. I can't speak to the rest of the world, but the CMA's remit of the UK definitely has a market where PlayStation's success can be emulated.
The realities of development is that COD currently doesn't run worse on Playstation under Activison. Even if Sony were making MLB intentionally worse or because Sony San Diego hadn't really developed on xbox before I'm not sure why people are bringing it up. It went in a better direction with MLB, you went from total blackout to getting it whereas you're going from getting a good quality game to possible partial foreclosure from this acquisition.I think why MLB is relevant, is because Sony claims Microsoft will intentionally make CoD worse on Playstation, but the reality of development is one version will be the baseline and run smoother. Unless Sony is purposely making MLB worse on Xbox, they have to accept that CoD might be marginally worse on Playstation. Not intentionally, but due to the realities of development.

Sony is speculating receiving a less than optimal version of game on their platform when they deliver suboptimal games to other platforms. That's why it's being brought up. MS would not be allowed to make excuses if they put out worse versions of games on other platforms so it's odd to give Sony a pass here. More so if Activision is already making an acceptable version of CoD on PlayStation it makes even less sense that after a MS acquisition they would forget how to deliver a quality title and start putting bugs in the final level of the PlayStation version of the game. The realities of development is that COD currently doesn't run worse on Playstation under Activison. The comparison is daft though even if we assume it's intentional. xbox wasn't getting an equal version before, it was getting no version at all. Then a Sony studio started making an xbox port albeit with lower framerate replays or not. That's a net positive for the platform. With this it's going the other way. PS was getting an equal or better version of an independent studios output and somebody coming to buy the publisher could degrade what they were getting before. Now when or if the deal is finally done the lead platform for developing COD would be switched to xbox I would imagine and that would gain advanatage towards xbox because it's the lead hardware. I would imagine PS5 being the lead platform at this moment in time and why we see slight advantages when COD is usually released befor patches come into play later down the road. As pointed out earlier with Sonys own words it doesn't matter about patches improving it down the road as it's usually to late by then and people already made their mind up
Don't bother common sense doesn't fit the narrative. The comparison is daft though even if we assume it's intentional. xbox wasn't getting an equal version before, it was getting no version at all. Xbox players should just settle for scraps, whilst it's unthinkable that PS players get served a second class meal!so people who own an xbox should be happy to have a worse port of a game because they didn't have it before?
