Hopefully maintenance means something different in the EU since treaties were signed and the maintenance completed. With the exception of places like Plymouth in the UK, that are a law unto themselves - so still work to old British standards - elsewhere in Britain, for the last 25years a maintenance sign goes up telling you what they intended to do, come back eight weeks after the work was supposed to be finished and the job is still ongoing.

That's how the FTC blocks it. There will be a court case in the USA.

In the UK, however, if the CMA blocks it, it does not go to courts. It goes to CAT, which reviewes procedural problems.

But it has been blocked by regulators in both the UK and USA. Hopefully, EU is the next one to block it.

If they don't announce it today, why would anyone even believe the other part of that rumor? Which was that EC will approve it.
