Round up man. Give them some hope.
I'm pretty sure that part of the calculation is actually wrong - and I forgot to move the decimal place to the left by one place, making the value 10x bigger than it should - how's that for giving them hope? :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I have a question, can Microsoft simply not do Cloud in UK? Perhaps have a 3rd party handle their cloud distribution in the country?

At this point I question the legality if what he's doing. I mean to keep telling people it's 100% confirmed must be illegal somewhere. Especially since some might fall for it and lose money as a result.
Negligent misstatement covers the cunt.

To be done for Negligent Misstatement you need to prove all the following:
1. There is a duty of care between the parties
2. That duty was breached
3. The person relying on the information does so to their detriment.

So if I went on tv and said put the house on Man City to win the treble, there is no contract between me saying it and you hearing me. The comment was made to the world at large so I wouldnt have a duty of care to you.

If he gave MS a report and he said he guaranteed the purchase will be a success (without putting in a disclaimer that the person using the information does so to their detriment), and MS lost money, they could sue him. Basic information just for the gist of what I'm saying

What's the 4th regulator that must approve the deal after the FTC, EU and CMA that was explicitly stated in the contract? China's regulator?

Edmund

is waiting for Starfield 7
Florian, Senjutsu and Peter Ovo are like Messi, Ronaldo and Haaland respectively. We need all 3 of them here together 😍😍😍

Imagine the chaos if they tag teamed and posted in this thread 😍😍

I know it's hard to get a decent conversation on this topic without fanboy extremism... But I just read what an EU commissioner said on the topic. There's a lot of people that think politicians are out of touch with Tech but I have to say I do agree with his assessment.

An EU official, on the other hand, said that the UK regulator had “overstated” the position that Microsoft held in the cloud gaming market. In its report, the CMA had declared that the gaming giant already "accounts for an estimated 60-70% of global cloud gaming services." However, it seemed to many people that the regulator had included all Xbox Game Pass subscribers in its calculation, which is not necessarily an accurate interpretation of the numbers.

Xbox Game Pass offers a variety of perks to subscribers, mainly access to a rotating selection of games, including first-party day-one releases. Ultimate members also receive access to EA Play's exclusive library of titles, two free games a month via Xbox Live Gold, discounts, and the ability to stream games using Xbox Cloud Gaming. The CMA’s analysis did not seem to take into account that many gamers who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate do so for the free games and sales, and a lot of people have no interest in and don’t use the cloud gaming service.
