Then they came with Bethesda and I thought it was a bad idea, because they never managed this many studios and they've already shown that they haven't trouble managing what they already had.

I disagree. Microsoft has 70% of that market, giving them ownership of such a major publisher would not only lock that but reduce the chances to any newcomer to basically zero. This in an already extremely hard to enter market (considering the infrastructure necessary). The CMA isn't here to reward Microsoft for doing a good job in cloud gaming, it's here to make sure that that market remains competitive and that no player gets hold of a monopoly there.

Those modes or skins are shit anyway. Your argument fails because paying less that full price is a smaller benefit than the negative of having to buy a whole console or PC to even be able to play cheaper than full price.
