Holy shit I just watched a video of Fable legends beta and it looks bloody awesome.

It would be a shame if all these assets would remain unused.
I would play it. It looks fun.

Yeah it was a AAA game development that was going to be F2P, so production values and polish were going to be very high. That thing was expensive.Watched the full video, it's crazy they cancelled all that stuff, WTF.
Gameplay looks fun to me. There is also heroes customization, kinda like overwatch with skin and stuff.
They did not have a good 4v1 setup, if you were one the four, you'd think you were just playing a co-op dungeon game in the vein of Diablo or Destiny strikes.Gameplay was not fun. Customization was not good, hell it took forever to get much loot. Was friggin beautiful though. If they were to try it again, dumping the villain mechanic would be the first thing. Improving the loot cycle would be second. Improving combat would be third.
Just make a proper Fable game.
No multiplayer, no 4v1, no F2P.
Just make a proper Fable game.

Dundee (Scotland) AAA developers? Reagent Games or Ruffian Games, both working on Crackdown 3, but one of these seems to be expanding to create a new AAA for Xbox One, what do you guys think?
Interesting. Game is probably a long ways off.
Ruffian is supposedly working on the Crackdown MP but I thought it was already done and the hold up is just the single player at this point.Yeah, if it's indeed Ruffian we won't see that this year 'cause Crackdown, but E3 2018 is likely tho
Senior UI Artist AAA Console Project Midlands
A Midlands based AAA Games studio are currently undergoing an expansion due to the success of their last few titles and require an experienced UI Artist to work on a new AAA console title. As the UI Artist you will hit the ground running and be able to create breath-taking user interfaces for this new title, which they anticipate will achieve a high Metacritic score.
From the top of my head:Codemasters is the only Midlands AAA studio I can think of, do you guys know any other?
From the top of my head:
Rare
Sumo Digital
Playground Games
Dambuster Studios
It's probably for Playground's next project.
There's also that but we can't know for sure what console is:

Don't know about that, maybe it's not even Microsoft related but since we're speculating about the studios working with MS I said, why not?

Anyway I could definitely see ruffian making another game for the Xbox. The relationship is already there
Looks like Ruffian is working on another game for MS. They likely have been "done" with the majority of their Crackdown duties so I imagine between those devs freed up and them no longer working on Hollowpoint that they could have picked up another contract with MSSo, just found that.

A Brighton based AAA Games studio are currently looking to hire an exceptional Senior Gameplay Programmer to work on a brand new AAA title. The studio have come from a core AAA background and have built a successful, reputable studio with strong international ties. They have released titles which have sold millions of units on console platforms and also achieved high ratings and reviews on Metacritic. The studio are now working on a new AAA console title.
You will be coming into the studio at a great time as development has just begun, giving you opportunity to implement core systems and leave your own signature on the title from the beginning.

MS love UK developers it seems

Also, this seems to be Studio Gobo, as they are based on Brighton, seems to be a new IP I guess?
Also seems like they just started developing the game:

I'm off now![]()
Is there any reason to think these developers have partnered with MS, or are you just speculating?!
All good points.Since Crackdown 2 all of Ruffians work for MS has been contract stuff and tech demos that I can see: ryse, Kinect titles, halo 2/3/odst, Crackdown 3, Spartan Assault and not new titles, things could change but given they are working on Fragmental their steam game, appear to be working on VR and other contract stuff I wouldn't personally go expecting something new from them for MS.
I'm also not convinced that they're finished on Crackdown 3. Some people seem to think the MP has been done for ages? I don't think MP gets done and then left for a year or whatever.
Maybe they did sign a game from them but idk ruffian dont get a lot of luck it seems
A Marvel exclusive a la Spider-Man would be nice. A Hulk game in the vein of Ultimate Destruction would fit well with how Crackdown 3 is using cloud computing for physics. Cloudgine could help out whatever studio would be developing it. It wouldn't even have to be a full blown-out AAA title.
Disney/marvel is too tight with Sony to let one of their games not come to PS4A Marvel exclusive a la Spider-Man would be nice. Calling it now:
Crackdown 3 is gonna be a bigger deal than I think many of us are expecting, and the E3 presentation for it is gonna kick start that reaction.
And I have no evidence to support that, just a gut feeling at this point.

I think a lot of people are hoping for some kind of halo 6 beta announcement, including me. I'd be pretty stoked. They should add in a Halo 6 beta with it, that would definitely get more sales, just like the original.
I mean it has potential if the multi player lives up to it.. but you have what sounds to be a gta online clone(for lack of a better term) with destruction going up against rdr online.Calling it now:

I figured SoT was going to get delayed anyway but I don't think it will be a problem. So with that rumour about assassins creed featuring naval combat I've gotta say sea of thieves should probably get delayed into next year
Unfortunately, Shinobi doesn't seem to think it's doing too well. Are they really that tight with Sony?
I hope so man. It could be the reason that they aren't showing anything of it. No screenshots, no video, not a word. They want to go all out with it during E3. That would be great. For how many years has it been in development now? All I want from this game is a fun and worthwhile story mode with everything we liked about C1, the upgrades, vehicles, orbs collecting and cool missions.
It's just that they have said so little about the story mode. Then again, they have said very little about the game overall. When that happens it's never really a good sign. Good thing then that they have been tweeting quite a bit lately. Bring on E3.

He was referring to their overall quietness and lack of updates for the game. They've reiterated 2017 a few times now
I think MS is going to give Phantom Dust for free at E3.
This wouldn't surprise me at all. I don't think they'll give it away for free, but using it to incentivize Game Pass membership seems pretty plausible.I really do feel something is up with it. Either this or making it available as part of the new games pass and maybe announcing further original Xbox games on that service as well.
