That sucks, the other skin looks really cool.
There's almost always an easy solution to the challenges the game throws at you. I was so much lazier: I just picked off the guys around the Squealer with arrows, then shadow struck him and hit grab.
I really like the subtle hints at uruk sexual psychology in this game. Clearly, the Squealer is the Warchief's personal 'pet'. Skilled at goblin', if you know what I mean. I mean oral sex. I can't think of any other reason one uruk would care about the suffering of another. It would make sense for uruks to have vestigial sex organs since they were originally elves; even if they're manufactured in vats.
Also, some of the names: Ghul-Lover and Halfling-Lover...Sure, there are non-sexual explanations for those titles in theory, but I know what I'm choosing to assume!
Finished this a few days ago - absolutely loved it. There is certainly plenty of room for improvement and refinement, but I just found the combat so satisfying and Nemesis System so enjoyable that I couldn't stop playing.
I really hope this is a hit for Monolih. They've been one of my favorite developers for years, but after they made Gotham City Impostors I assumed the next step was either map packs, last-gen ports or studio closure. So great to see such a great product from them again - hope it pays off.

I'm trying to get the Burning Vengeance achievement, but even if I get a Berserker alone and stun him to 5x he usually just dies when I Fire Arrow him. One time I managed to execute him but apparently the Fire Arrow fire only lasts for a second. I can't think of any, but is there an easier way to get this achievement done?

I suck at this game......or I'm doing something wrong......I'm supposed to kill the warchiefs but they keep destroying me pretty quick =/
I don't have any problems with the combat, the game is fairly easy and I played it several times before anyway. It's all the options, points, skills, systems. It's very cluttered.
Yes: do you have the Epic rune that sets 15% of your throwing daggers on fire? If so, spam daggers and executions, and if you're like me, you'll get it without trying in a stronghold brawl. Daggers are good for building your combo without inflicting much damage, but I don't know if you'll be so likely to succeed with your current strategy if you're getting the berserker alone. You really need cannon fodder to increase your combo.
The other option I'd been trying was using detonate on a fire/grog pot with a good pack of enemies around. The berzerkers will catch on fire but won't die; and your combo will have been triggered by all the enemies caught in the blast. Then it's about hoping you're near enough and fast enough to catch the uruk you need with an execution.
Only non-progression based trophy I need now is the one for liberating slaves while riding a caragor. I've given it a few shots, but not been lucky yet. Weirdly, though I tried and failed to get some of the others on purpose, I ended up scoring every other trophy just by playing the game.
Really? Gotta try it out then, hopefully it's not a performance hog.

Before you take on the warchief
Better yet, brand their bodyguards individually, then when you confront the warchief, turn them against him.

I thought take out the bodyguards meant you do it in the encounter with the chief..........now that I know what I'm doing the dast chief died quick with no protection

How do I take a photo? (Xbox One)
I press the left stick to enter the mode, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to take an actual photo. I'm guessing it's something pathetically obvious, staring me in the face, but I just can't see it.

On my second playthrough and STILL haven't encounter 2 of the same Uruk, it's really an amazing system.
I had an Uruk with all boils and puss sack on his body and face and one with flies all around him and he had the title "____ the smelly" or something and one with all blood over him called "___ the blood licker".
I've restrained from getting a few upgrades and the game is much more challenging and fun this way I think.

Only if you skip time by dying or at the towers. Killing the whole board is an achievement.

I'm having a tough time with this game so far. Played through 3 story missions (and did a bunch of the side stuff), but I feel like some side stuff is just too tough for me currently. For example, there's a "kill all the uruk trainees" side mission that is too tough for me to beat right now because of the 25 archers the game also throws at you. Does it get easier as you level up?
Yes, you really become overpowered by the time you unlock everything.
Yes, much. This game is most difficult at the start. Remember each time you get your combo to 8x+, use your execution (triangle+circle) immediately. The easiest way to achieve this, is to use your stun, and then do the flurry attack. When you first have the opportunity to unlock the skill that brings combo from 8x to 5x, take it. Next you should grab the skill that allows two consecutive executions
Once you unlock those two skills, you will be able to dispatch orc in masses. Until then, be smart and single target, and don't be afraid to run away!
I have to complete a mission that I have to hold a certain Orc for 20 freaking seconds so the chief will appear. He can't die. Touble is, it's very hard to steath kill everyone around him to make the job easier. I think the mission has failed 5 times or so.
This Chief I'm trying to summon is the guy that I branded 5 of his body guards.
Edit: Photo mode looks like fun! I'm going to try it when I get home.

Awesome, thanks! Didn't realize that the 8x multiplier is what dictates when you can use the execution. Guess that's why it wasn't working half the time... haha.

I had this problem. Just go the psn store and rebuy the game. It will say free and download it again. It will download the extra goodies. I had to try this 2 or 3 time b4 it worked though. Pretty sure legion edition comes with the skin, preorder or not.

Made some progress into the second half of the game but starting to get burned out. Had to take a break and play some other games for a while. For me, this is better played in short bursts.
I can see that. Branding though kinda opens it up. once I learned other than Mirian there is no bonus for doing the side stuff I stopped doing it so i could focus on completion. I had almost everything unlocked anyways.
Is the brand 5 warchiefs the last long misison? I have 4 missions left and wondering how long it will take (I just did brand the 5 warchiefts).
Yup. Actually, the easiest way to tell if your finisher/special is available is if your sword is glowing bright blue. If it is, spam execute!

There is an upgrade to get it down to five instead of eight, which I found to be really useful.

Either that or it's just a coincidence

For me it's absolutely this.
Better combat, more interesting side missions and for whatever reason I'll never tire of having some Orc that dispatched me, gloating about it. After which I have to go remove his head.
Honestly it just feels like a more fun romp through an interesting place than Ass Creed ever did.
Don't think you can yet. No screenshot button/saving. I guess
