There is a lot of other shit to do right now. I can understand he is not updating that often. Give him some time. He was too fast earlier tbh. Now we demand exactly this again.Pinko Marx said:Yeah, thats what makes me angry. Hes stopped his consistent updating.

Isn't that what hes spose to being hiring people for?

Caesar III said::lol We are complaining on a really high level here.
He is a one-man company working on a game. I know no other game where there where updates nearly every day. Even the big companies do not update every day.
calm down!
you have to consider that his sales exploded and with that the server exploded too so he had a lot to do with the server issuesZZMitch said:Well, to be fair, he hasn't really updated in about two weeks. And when your userbase (which is now huge) is expecting updates every friday, I find it a little funny that now is the time when his updates slow...

MNC said:Other than the 'cannot kill monsters unless it's with fire' in Multi, how do they work? Pondering wether or not it will be fun to turn them on.
I love them in the single player. Something about watching my back as I mine deeper into a cave or how I need to run to my house when it gets dark. Game is more scary then most scary games claim to be.TheNiX said:The same as single player. I can't imagine it would be fun to turn them on because they'd just become an irritation.
I'd love for me and my friend to kill off hoards with fire; I never use a bow and arrow anyway :lol Creepers might be scary though.TheNiX said:The same as single player. I can't imagine it would be fun to turn them on because they'd just become an irritation.

TheNiX said:Except you don't lose health in MP and neither do they. So, they would just be bumping you around and causing you to make grunting noises. Think of it more as sssssSSSSSSoftcore porn with an explosive ending.
Ditto. Stupid work filters... take the fun out of life.joelseph said:Thank you very much NiX.

Allow me to explain:Parallax Scroll said:This post makes no sense.
Now it makes far more sense.Twig said:Allow me to explain:
The bitchy masses are stupid.
The white knights, in an attempt to counter the bitchy masses, are becoming just as stupid, whether intentionally or not.
In conclusion: there is far too much stupidity going around.
I didn't think it was that difficult to understand. Though perhaps you thought I was referring to GAFfers. I was not. (For the most part.)

I get what you're saying but it has nothing to do with what I said.Vinci said:Depends: Are they making hundreds of thousands of dollars per day?
See, this kind of white knighting is not stupid.GDJustin said:Notch has had at least two international trips, formed a company, hired employees for the first time, and had to go into full crisis mode to deal with a server meltdown, all in the last month. And we still got new Minecraft content added at least twice. People need to chill.
I don't think people understand how much work goes into something like hiring a few people. Maybe Notch didn't even understand. It takes 2 seconds to say "I'm hiring two people" but the actual task is... huge.
Are they starting a company, with offices and everything, aiming for six employees, thinking about further projects already, maybe even developing some in parallel? He didn't make a billion off of Minecraft. The well isn't endless, the money he already made is eventually going to run out if Mojang Studios doesn't get another thing going.Vinci said:Depends: Are they making hundreds of thousands of dollars per day?
I've had the case of some stairs turning into cobblestone blocks.Monroeski said:Do blocks in the game ever turn into other kinds of blocks randomly? I ask because I had a pretty long staircase of width 1 going down into a mountain and I swear that after quitting the game and reloading later in the day there were a few steel deposits in the wall/ceiling that I just don't think I could have missed before.
Yes! Screw paintings and bookcases, dinosaur bones for decoration beat everything.maniac-kun said:The game should have archaeology its just a natural fit. Placeing a T-Rex skelleton at your house would be awesome.

Vinci said:A similarly ridiculous argument as those being made whenever Notch doesn't bother to update the game a week or two.
