Do the Dodgers own a printing press?
How can they be able to spend so much money?
Er, they just inked a gargantuan TV deal...
EDIT: Sorry not "inked" per se, but discussing in the range of 6 to 7 billion

Except for the time he tried to get into a fist fight with Justin Morneau in the locker room (and Morneau ducked so he punched Nick Punto). And except for the time he insinuated in the media that other players were faking their injuries on the team. And except for his entire last season in Minnesota where he discussed just how badly he wanted to play in basically every city in the AL. And except for him trying to say the team was "scared" to play the Yankees in the playoffs after he left (which is high comedy since his idiotic dive that lead to an inside the park homer in game one of the ALDS pretty much sunk the series for the team).
Hunter is a world class fuckhead who does it all with a big smile on his face. I'm glad the guy is no longer with the Twins. I'm disappointed I'll have to listen to the announcers was his balls 36 times the next two years when the Twins play the Tigers.
Buster Olney is saying that rival GMs believe Red Sox are setting it up to trade Ellsbury for pitching.

wtf is wrong with their GM.
wtf is wrong with their GM.
WTF is Cherrington doing?
Bring in a bunch of old turds and trading Ellsbury at the same time?
I would trade Tacoby for Dickey in a heartbeat.
Yes, if:
He signs an extension with the Mets and the Sawx give up Bradley too.
They're trading Ellsbury to open CF for Bradley, not deal both of them.
Do you realize Ellsbury is in his last year and most likely won't resign in Boston (Boras client and wants to play on the West Coast)
So glad the Brewers aren't looking for position upgrades this year. Jesus.

so address it next off season?

I don't believe either of those things would/should be necessary.
Why would the Mets make that trade? This year is meaningless, so unless the Mets sign him to an extension there is no point to that deal. And Ellsbury has only had one great season, it would take more than that to land Dickey.
Pirates either...
But we should have Cole in June
Trading Ellsbury is the smart thing to do. 2011 was a complete fluke and you need to unload him before other GMs catch wind of it.
2009, 2011, so he is due for another monster in 2013

Guess this is what happens when everybody does their best to lock up their young players well before they reach FA.Next year's FA class is even worse.
This is the new norm. Welcome, please enjoy your stay.

But his second best year was 2008.
Dude probably made at least 10 million during the postseason.Giants and Marco Scutaro have agreed to a 3-year, $20 million deal.

Scutaro was never going to get more than Victorino.lol @ Marco Scutaro getting less than Victorino. Good job, Red Sox.
Really?
.301 BA with 70 SB in 2009 is a pretty good year..
