Windu

never heard about the cat, apparently
/facepalm. someone on another forum is trying to argue to me that Eddie Murray was a better switch hitter than Chipper Jones. sigh

he was saying Mantle was the best switch hitter, which is true. He is head and shoulders above everyone else. And I made the comment that Chipper was second and then maybe Berkman. He said Murray was second, chipper third....and Bernie Williams 4th. yeah....

Chipper: .303/.401/.529, 81.3 WAR
Eddie : .287/.359/.476, 63.4 WAR

Yeah, maybe you were talking to an O's fan. Not even close.

well to be fair they did play in a different era, but looking at stuff like OPS+ and wRC+ which base their numbers on league avg. so that you can compare different eras chipper is still well ahead of him.

Profar in a baseball game? Is this real life?

Holy fuck and Olt at the same time? What is going on?

Although Olt comes in at the cost of Beltre :(

A gritty team with less than half the salary of another team - a team that hasn't faced adversity for the past few years - making a run in the final games of the season for the division? That's a feel good story.

Ron Washington's management is constant adversity.

You know what would be a feel good story? When the best pitcher in baseball finally gets traded to a team worth a shit.

The Yankees did make the playoffs this year. Was looking doubtful there....

Guess Giradi is safe....?

Let's see how far into the playoffs the Yankees get.

If the Yankees only are a wild card and get beaten in the play-in game, he's still in the hottest of hot seats.
