Jeff Hougland went 1-2 in 135lbs UFC prelims and afterwards he opened a gym just South of Seattle. I figure that's the way to do it if you want to keep some extra brain cells in your golden years. He already proved he could dominate local MMA competition and so there's no sense in going back to a local circuit after getting cut by the UFC.
