Monitoring the situation in Iran

Will you please let me stir up the Olympic angst.

Imagine, years in the future, historians writing about this conflict and saying "and then the war was postponed by a couple of weeks because the shitter was full"

It's a reminder that reality is messy ;)

Well, just remember that one of the main causes of death during military campaigns, throughout all of human history, was dysentery.
So in reality, it's not the first time, nor the last, that a military event is shaped because the "shitter was full" :messenger_tears_of_joy:

It's kinda sad to me that the Iran Israel war was such a failure and was touted as a success. I have no idea wtf we were bombing all this time if Iran is basically unchanged and the nuclear sites can be reactivated in such a short time.

It's climbing on Polymarket. Currently showing 68% odds of US striking Iran by the end of March and 80% by Dec 31

The horoscope fans and various astrologers are going crazy online regarding this stuff these days due to various "planetary movements" and mythical things.

Strange because I read reports to talks are going well.
Talk always "go well" in the reports. It is just a formality really so that Oman/other etc. save some face.

This week Jews celebrate Purim, which is based on the Book of Esther. The book relates the story of a Jewish woman in Persia, who becomes queen of Persia and thwarts a genocide of her people. Defeating the evil Haman. It could be too on the nose.

What impresses me is that a lot of events that have been happening in the last decade could literally be used to write another religious book. I heard about Purim, but did not know the details. Fascinating.
