I read a thread on gamefaq's where people mentioned the game did not come with the Goa Magara bundle. The game was not on the included SD card nor was there a physical cartridge. Be careful, it seems those who ordered from Nippon Yassan were the ones without the game.

*edit* - So actually it was the Goa bundle that had this problem, I'm sorry for that mistake.

That's weird. I guess they can just contact Nippon Yasan to resend the game. Most that received do have the game inside.

Just cleared all 3* guild quests including that pesky powderstone delivery mission. I found it MUCH worse than the 6* village egg delivery quest. Ugh. Not looking forward to any more delivery quests in high rank... >.<

Got my Goa MH4 bundle from Nippon Yasan, and while they were a bit slow to ship it, the game was included.

Only a few hours into the game. I've been a longtime lance user, and at first I was going to try to learn one of the new weapons, but just not getting the hang of them.

Anyone tried an arena quest with multiple monsters where you raise the fence?

1) Press the blue button, bottom left on touch screen (world map),
2) Press the middle rectangle in the line on top of bottom screen,
3) Following menu is like: (top) offline, (middle) local, (bottom) online, choose online,
4) Next menu is (top) make a room, (middle) find a room, (bottom) play monhun4 with based gaf friends.

Facing the same situation, went for the cheaper solution myself, and I'm feeling pretty good about it. The regular LL feels and looks much nicer than my old vanilla 3DS. So much so that I'm not too distraught over not having one of the nicer looking limited editions. Besides, aren't those kinda sold out-ish by now?

no narga stuff to trade for yet. do I just need certain parts for it to pop up? do I need to progress until a certain point in the game? something entirely different?

Ah somehow I knew this was going to happen. I had even read what you have to do but somehow it escaped me to add it to the post. I'll go back and edit it in for future reference.
Trading options are indeed increased by doing certain quests, I'll assume all that do increase are ones issued by the the old guy himself. I'll list the quests and their prerequisites starting with the one that gives the Narga Mail:

All normal village 5&#9733; quests:
&#22825;&#31354;&#23665;&#12398;&#25903;&#37197;&#32773;&#12383;&#12385; - Rathalos + Zinogre - get from talking to old guy

Make sure to eat healthy before doing such a thing! Fish&Milk give all the utility skills.&#12288;(first two are pretty much gathering buffs, fourth fishing) The third option has transporter (less stamina used, don't lose egg if attacked), running away from big monster and not using hands when jumping from high place.

This is the non-bundle white one

186+53+12=251 (round to 252)

Where as the bundle is 328+12=340ish.

MH4 as standalone cart

After going through this post..the best option is the white stand alone. Its not worth the premium for the bundles.

You can mine random gear, you dont necessarily have to fight monsters, monsters might escape, new monsters can spawn, you can find poogie outfits, I think some monsters you can only find on expeditions (kut ku?).

To be honest I don't really know, I moved them all into my regulars (I don't have many of them yet).
I'd guess they "freeze" when you let them there, and that only regulars can "change status"

I tested it a bit. It seems that they rest if not on page 1. I have nearly maxed out my slots.

Hey it's all good, more fun just hanging out and hunting with known people rather than trying to make progress with randoms. I also have a patchwork gunner set I wanna mess with, so HR2 stuff sounds fine.

Similar situation on the pink ian set. Thought I could craft it after running it for (roughly) a 100 billion times with randoms. Except I got zero gems / two necessary. ;(

Doubt you can capture though.
The highest I have is something 3x, stopped going on expeditions a while ago. Might actually go now because the things I can do solo have narrowed down extremely.

how do i get to village 3*? I completed all the quests with (...) in the name as well as the expedition quest? Or, I think I competed the EQ (killed the blue raptor and made it to the end with the item dude and cart thing). Do I need to complete the final 2 (kill jaggia and collect bones) as well?

Is there any benefit to over charging the charge axe to the point where the game puts on the blinking CHARGE icon and your SnS bounces off of everything? I'd like to think it gives you some kind of buff when switching to axe mode but maybe I'm just being optimistic. :x

just bring those virus reduce berries and you'll be fine.
think around 100def is good enough. I did it with velociprey set. only upgraded them twice before I need to use orange upgrade armor balls
