While I'm not jumping on the hate bandwagon on this, it's hard for everyone to just go jump in blind into whatever Capcom says or shows when DD2 exists on PS5 and had very questionable performance, even if I personally wasn't that bothered with it as I'm not a crazy fps guy but the game engine clearly has major issues with open world games so based on that experience It's not that hard to see why some are skeptical about what is shown ESPECIALLY since all trailers for MH Wilds have had choppy framerate.Because they would rather live in a world of fake news than in reality.
I was just tickling your warrior feathers bro, I can see the video is 60 with dips.
"Shitty videos" didn't stop DF and you didn't have a problem jumping to conclusions from that before. From this shitty videos?
I don't think anybody expects this game to be a locked 60fps without drops but this is different to the earlier claim that it was running at 30fps with drops. While I'm not jumping on the hate bandwagon on this, it's hard for everyone to just go jump in blind into whatever Capcom says or shows when DD2 exists on PS5 and had very questionable performance, even if I personally wasn't that bothered with it as I'm not a crazy fps guy but the game engine clearly has major issues with open world games so based on that experience It's not that hard to see why some are skeptical about what is shown ESPECIALLY since all trailers for MH Wilds have had choppy framerate.
It's ok that you can't tell the difference. I won't judge you.I was just tickling your warrior feathers bro, I can see the video is 60 with dips.
Lots of dips, big ones. Feels like they just unlocked the frame-rate rather than have it run properly at 60. At that point, if it were me, i'd rather just cap the game at 40 or 30.I was just tickling your warrior feathers bro, I can see the video is 60 with dips.

Yes my 5800X3D does struggle to hit 60 in most things, I am jelly of your 2019 3600x equivalent CPU, bro. I dream in 120fps but live in 24.It's ok that you can't tell the difference. I won't judge you.
Just ask me next time and I'll let you know...if you don't have access to a frame counter.

Yeah, no. They used the videos we had before too and you were all over those. This video is also not even poor quality you don't even need very high quality video to see 60fps.DF uses high quality videos to count frames, there is no problem with that. This looks like it was recorded on Casio calculator from the 90s.
You must be cause you are in another PlayStation thread.Yes my 5800X3D does struggle to hit 60 in most things, I am jelly of your 2019 3600x equivalent CPU, bro. I dream in 120fps but live in 24.

You should just buy a PS3....it would make no difference, since you are completely unable to tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps without a frame counter.Yes my 5800X3D does struggle to hit 60 in most things, I am jelly of your 2019 3600x equivalent CPU, bro. I'm not sure where you got that idea from, my good sir.You should just buy a PS3....it would make no difference, since you are completely unable to tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps without a frame counter.
Good thing this isn't 1.0, and that the game is still ~5 months away from release.Lots of dips, big ones. Feels like they just unlocked the frame-rate rather than have it run properly at 60. At that point, if it were me, i'd rather just cap the game at 40 or 30.
Base ps5 not proWe didn't think this about the Pro.
It does have the biggest market share after all90% of threads on this forum are playstation bro I gota post somewhere
It's the same Sony warriors in every PC thread lol
Welcome to the thread bros! So glad you could join us! And until the next PC thread you guys so clearly love to take part in.

Don't ya see, there's like 4 PC threads a week and every one of em is filled with console warriors mocking PC gamers. Us PC bros have no choice but to post in console threads otherwise we'd just be posting in the video game butts and boobs topics over and over

Lol what is with all the weird bitter and defensive energy in this thread? I could understand if this were ps5 exclusive. But last I checked this is still releasing on the personal computer. It is possible to enjoy the game even if console players are not locked at 30.
Who?Congalala is back? Nice.
The farting monkey. I'm talking about the game.Who?
It has some drops during the big fight at around 4mn. But it seems to keep it above the VRR window and drops are actually not sustained. Also I didn't notice I/O stutters, at all. Very promising stuff, at least on PS5...It definitely has drops but is way above 30. Guessing it's using frame generation?
The last few months are usually reserved for optimizations and polishing. So, hopefully, they will be able to patch out most of these optimization-related issues before the game goes gold.Remember that Monster hunter games were always uncapped. On PS4 the game was running at ~35fps and few people complained because the game was quite responsive for the framerate.
It seems to run quite better than World on PS4 too and stays at 60fps most of the time

While I'd love to believe that, what makes me worry is that they have already unveiled the minimum and recommended specs for PC, something they probably wouldn't have done if there was still a lot of window for optimizations. The last few months are usually reserved for optimizations and polishing. Considering the PC specs they released and DD2 performance, i'm not holding my breathGood thing this isn't 1.0, and that the game is still ~5 months away from release.
Can you put the GIF of pikachu meme with a blink?
Oh yes I am completely relieved now watching that footage. For a Monster Hunter game this is already ready to ship. They clearly optimized the game to make it run very well on PS5. This is not like DD2 at launch at all.The last few months are usually reserved for optimizations and polishing. Nice. I haven't been keeping up with Wilds at all. Love seeing PSP monsters return. The farting monkey. I'm talking about the game.
Pretty much lmaoThat framerate be like

Think this is a screen recording of a projected stage demoAlso, that shit looks hazy and washed out as fuck. Why?
Thanks. I was triggered as fuck dude.Think this is a screen recording of a projected stage demo
Go ahead and post the timestamp for "stuttering mess" bits of the video.all i saw was a stuttery mess, but if you're happy with what you saw good for you i guess.
This. Jesus, you guys. The difference between the Gamescom demo build and the TGS Quematrice demo build is night and day. Most optimizations happen during beta, which the game is now in. They still have effectively four months to dial in performance for the 1.0.0 gold master, and then will spend the last month up until the release date working on a day 1 patch if necessary to round up any last critical issues.Good thing this isn't 1.0, and that the game is still ~5 months away from release.
