Yes, all looks, nothing under the bonnetThe bolded is an oxymoron. Do you not understand the point of them?
i hope you have a good PC because once this cross gen phase ends, there will be more and more 30fps console games as the gen goes on.I didn't, when I heard that it was 30fps or below, i refuse to play anything below 60fps
I don't give a fuck about NASA graphics if it's a slideshow,
Even my phone is 120hz ffs
If that happens and games i really want like starfield for example happen to be 30fps only, then i will sell my XSX and buy a PC again, i used to be a PC gamer from 2005-2020i hope you have a good PC because once this cross gen phase ends, there will be more and more 30fps console games as the gen goes on.
Pretty sure Starfield will be 60fps, or at least have a 60fps mode. I think it will be more games coming in the second half of the gen, games that really start pushing the systems hard.If that happens and games i really want like starfield for example happen to be 30fps only, then i will sell my XSX and buy a PC again, i used to be a PC gamer from 2005-2020

Epic is the only one keeping this industry from falling into despair. The very best real-time graphical demonstration ever released.. a free little gift that gave us better tech, graphics and physics than fully fledged, hyped games years in the making..

Never thought i'd say this, but thanks Epic. This thing never fails to impress the living shit out of every person i've shown this to.
I don't mean the graphics, I was talking about the physics. I couldn't careless about the graphics... I'm only interested about the gameplay. And it was disappointingNah. The demo is literally all about what's going on under the bonnet. They even have a toggle switch that displays that lol
You are only interested in gameplay in a Tech Demo.. the most interactive Tech Demo ever, also.I don't mean the graphics, I was talking about the physics. I couldn't careless about he graphics... I'm only interested about the gameplay. And it was disappointing

So would you guys rather have games performing like the Matrix demo?, 1080p and 25-30fps framerates?.Epic is the only one keeping this industry from falling into despair.

I dont mean that in a diksih way, i'm honestly interested in how some poeple on this forum view this kind of stuff.
This Demo features an entire, fully real-time photorealistic city with infinite geometry down to the most extreme close-ups of every little asset. So would you guys rather have games performing like the Matrix demo?, 1080p and 25-30fps framerates?.

DUDE...................One of my favorite games of all time was this on the PS2.

And it ran like this................
So you already know what my answer is!!!!!!!!
The whole demo is underwhelming, you can't do anything in it, you can't interact with anything apart from driving a car and even that is shit. Try comparing it to BeamNG and you will get an idea. It's a graphical showcase, nothing else.Umm you're shite? How can you say its a shallow tech demo. what the hell are you comparing it to? i have the feeling you have not seen many tech demos. its literally one of the biggest and best tech demos ever release to the public. Where do you get that its shallow?
lol Of course not. 30 FPS locked is my standard. 1080p I HATE but this 1080p is NOT the same as native 1080p. I have stopped playing games like DriveClub, Bloodborne and Batman AK on my PS4 because of the shimmering and I love those games to death. Thats how much I hate it. But the 1080p with TSR upscaling has almost no shimmering. It is as pristine as a 1440p image. So would you guys rather have games performing like the Matrix demo?, 1080p and 25-30fps framerates?.

Its interesting you said that because i'm on PC so obviously havent played the Matrix demo, but i have watched quite a few high bitrate vids of it, and the low image quality, and artifacting on distant objects really stood out ot me, especially when you campare it to say a dynamic 4k game.lol Of course not. 30 FPS locked is my standard. 1080p I HATE but this 1080p is NOT the same as native 1080p. Just for shits and giggles, I switched Horizon on PC to 1080p and it was a blurry disaster. Matrix is actually very crisp.

Will they ever get to a smooth 30 fps? Who knows? Maybe in a non-open world game. The most impressive thing about the Matrix demo is that it is an open world. No BS linear demos like those Infiltrator and Samaritan demos. This is a fully playable open world you can even fly in. It has full hardware acceralted GI, Reflections AND shadows. it has chaos physics that result in some dynamic spectacular crashes not just in the on-rails sequence but also in the open world.
Besides, if people want 60 fps they can always buy a PC.

Bullshit dude. Its a tech demo, not a game. or a "demo" which is a vertical slice of a game. you need to understand the difference. The whole demo is underwhelming, you can't do anything in it, you can't interact with anything apart from driving a car and even that is shit. Try comparing it to BeamNG and you will get an idea. It's a graphical showcase, nothing else.

the forum equivalent of mansplaining. No problem.
Also, yes. It's a tech demo. It demonstrates what is achievable in realtime with some of the features of UE5 in combination with some of the best talent in the industry. Nothing more, nothing less.
It doesn't represent normal games because normal games are made differently, with a different number of people, with 'proper game design', different budget allocations and simply different goals.
I'll mansplain every day any day if there are people who don't understand this fact.the forum equivalent of mansplaining.
Well i was talking about current gen games moving forward.
Besides i bet you loved thre PS4 remaster more he he.
Too bad it's shite... it's a shallow tech demo.
20%. There are roughly 30m next gen consoles out there.6 million is actually pretty crazy attach rate when taking into account its only available on XSX/XSS/PS5.
Its like what?, 30-40% of all next gen owners downloaded the demo?
Too bad it's shite... it's a shallow tech demo.
Get a pc ffs.I didn't, when I heard that it was 30fps or below, i refuse to play anything below 60fps

This demo was said to leave enough on the table for game mechanics and all that. I think we'll see stuff this good down the line, probably even better looking. Hoping we still get to have trees AND leaves, but we'll see. LOLthis is just going to get peoples hopes up, no finished and playable game is going to look like this
But it's not, have you even played it yourself? GTA IV has better damage/deformation model.the vehicle damage is impressive though
