Of all the horrible things happening that breakfast was the worst for me.Good movie. I liked the actors and the cinematography (by Avatar actor Giovanni Ribisi) a lot too, And you're right, the less you know the better.
It's very good and interesting in my opinion, it starts off slow but gets a lot better starting midway. If you know about Albert Pyun one of the best B movie makers in the 80s than it's one of his better movies in my opinion. Although you have to be able to handle the actress's voice. Her voice actually does sound like that even in real life which was one of the reason why Pyun gave her the role. I don't mind her voice but some people obviously would.
Two rival fixers cross paths when they're both called in to help cover up a prominent New York official's misstep. Over one explosive night, they'll have to set aside their petty grievances and their egos to finish the job.
Watched it today on YouTube. It was fun. Very dumb. But fun. It's very good and interesting in my opinion, it starts off slow but gets a lot better starting midway. Lol that's how I see it, I like her voice and how she and the other characters interacted with each other. It was also pretty funny when the random background character that's usually not important became important as well as her lover simply because one of the mobster shoved him to the side and pissed him off. Yeah I saw the sequel too which I didn't really like that much either. It had potential but it was wasted.Watched it today on YouTube. It was fun. Very dumb. But fun.
Apparently there is a sequel full of controversy. Journey to the center of the earth.
She definitely made a choice with that voice. Kathy Ireland really went for it.Lol that's how I see it, I like her voice and how she and the other characters interacted with each other. If you liked that, I'd also recommend Run Lola Run and Guns Akimbo. Smash those two together, add a bit of Crank, and you've got Hardcore Henry.Hardcore Henry
This movie was wild. Shot entirely in first person perspective, this is a ultra violent action movie that never takes the foot off the gas pedal. You have no clue what is going on, you are just thrust into a crazy world where everyone wants to kill Henry. But Henry is a cyborg, part man part machine, so he ends up killing everyone instead. The movie is very gory and sometimes feels like a brutal first person shooter video game. The cinematography, editing and the effects are pretty fucking slick. The movie is very well made and I'm impressed with how they managed to put it together like this. It is not something you see every day. Crank is probably the closest I can think of, but overall Hardcore Henry is thoroughly unique. A must watch for action fans.
Brilliant movie. It is really his true take on valerian.
★★★★★ / I don’t want 1 position, I want all positions!
The stars aligned and gave us this gem for our viewing pleasure.Brilliant movie. It is really his true take on valerian.
I quite enjoyed that one , but yeah the cgi really took you out of the experience at times, it looked cheap as fuck.Furiosa. I liked the first two chapters a bunch, thought the second two chapters were okay and didn't like the last chapter. I really wish they'd go back and fix some of the horrible CG elements.
I saw it last night, it was fun, but it being rated R18 in my country, I was expecting worst so I was a bit disappointed, I think it got that rating only because children are involved.Saw Terrifier 3 three times. Twice in the theaters and once at home. Great movie. Some of my favorite kills and scenes are from this movie.
I would rank them

He also showed restraint in showing barely any sex at all. In a relationship movie about a seduction and a threesome, I think we need a bit more sugar. Kind of reminded me of this perception that Gen-Z doesn't want to see sex in shows and movies...I find this hard to believe but it seems this movie was made for them.Challengers: The director showed remarkable restraint in not including a final success scene,
I agree with all of this. CGI looked way too fake. I read they filmed the scenes on location but the effects were laid on so thick that I thought they were filming from a soundstage. And I wanted more of the start of the movie where you follow Dementus and his crew...the gang was pretty interesting with some fun characters. Overall not a bad movie but the CGI was a turnoff.Furiosa. I liked the first two chapters a bunch, thought the second two chapters were okay and didn't like the last chapter. I think he would have had to find a different lead actress if he was going to include anything stronger in that film.He also showed restraint in showing barely any sex at all. I’ve never seen the IP MAN Trilogy. That changes tonight!
I’m starting the first movie now on Bluray. I know who Donnie Yen is, and I somewhat know who IP Man was. I’ll probably watch part 2 tomorrow night, and part 3 the following night. Here we go!

Bruh, Donnie is literally the last of his kind. Nobody is forcing him to make these movies but he does it anyway. I can't imagine how much work he has to do behind the scenes to make it work on the scene. Kind of like Jackie Chan in a way.Second one is my favorite
The Matrix movies were made more green on the DVDs I believe.DVD's are the superior format because movie studios can't fuck with the color grading. Right or wrong?

I only recently discovered there is an Alamo draftbhouse near me, and Monday I had spare time and they were doing a showing of the Monster Squad with a Q&A session with the cast..
Monday was such a good day.
Only the first one is good.I'm not sure how far into IP Man 2 I am, but I don't care for this one at all so far. I really enjoyed the first one. This one is boring and disjointed. The narrative is all over the place. I will finish watching it out of obligation to see it through, but I doubt I will like it once it is over.
