he probably got a bit excited about lara croft making those struggle noises....

I mean, it won't be that long tbh, as long as ROtTR is on par with the first game (a game, mind you, that I didn't think was that good). Here's a preview:
"Rise of The Tomb Raider got gameplay. Uncharted 4 ain't got enough gameplay."
Fin.
the mice in scene is better in uc4 tho

I haven't played tomb raider tbh .. No xbox
fucking bailed out of Suicide Squad. Fucking appalling heap of rancid garbage, jesus christ
now you know our pain. Our pain!
(I did see the whole movie though. More on that later, since I've still got twelve movies to go, with three rewatches in between too. brb, typing... )

Noooo, this thread is supposed to be free of Gaming nonsense.
So Scorsese's Silence is rumored to shaping up to have a runtime of three hours
oh, good. I was hoping this would be another Gangs of New York.
So Scorsese's Silence is rumored to be shaping up to have a runtime of three hours with a likely release in December. Hope he delivers. I'm undecided whether I should read the novel before or after watching the film.
On that note, how does Seven Years in Tibet compare to Kundun?
yeah there's a bit too much walk and talk chapters. druckmann is on his own kool aid where he thinks he's crafting award worthy stories or some shit.
but man when you get to those gunfights. uncharted 4 is on a new level. the physics as the bullets flew and hit everything and the maneuverability......really felt like i was playing an action movie.

SIIT is a horribly boring hollywood cliche fest, more interested in Pitt's wonderful hair than in showing some actual cinema. Kundun is cold as hell, but at least it's fascinating, honest and with a lot of memorable scenes (the dialogue between Mao and the Lama)
Ebert would sometimes get too emotional (not really the right word but I can't articulate what it is) and completely get it wrong.Holy shit was Ebert wrong about Taste of Cherry. Opinions and all that, I know, but wow I could not disagree with him more.

Sicario cut deeper and went to places that I didn't expect after the first hour or so. After that my opinion changed on it changed greatly. I can definitely see the comparisons to Apocalypse Now. I also loved that convoy scene early on, the tension there was something else.
Back on-topic, how the hell had I never seen "Sexy Beast" before a few days ago? It's astonishingly good, and Ben Kingsley's Don Logan is simply one of the most memorable villains ever committed to screen.

My favorite shot. I think Blade Runner 2 is in good hands.
