wow,the Too Human coop video is really awesome.

Visual is great,so is gameplay features.

It seems Mr.Dyack redeemed.

No local co-op and no 4 player MP really isn't good enough for this type of game.

I've been backing this game for a while, but there comes a point where you just have to accept that it's really not going to turn out well.

4 player MP would have been fantastic as well.

The dog part is cool of course, but ME set the bar really high for WRPGs.

If Fable 2 is really better than ME they will have a masterpiece on their hands.

Yeah seriously it does have a lot of prove in comparison so i'm looking to see what lionhead can do.

The new Too Human trailer looks amazing… but only two player co-op?

I thought this was supposed to be ‘the next Diablo/PSO.’ :(

Seeing that players could create that statue of Mario in the new Banjo footage what's stopping them from creating any structure to goof around in?

Rare really is pushing for something different with the new Banjo and I'm 1,000% behind it. It certainly beats the Mario-clone most people(including myself) were expecting.

FFS get over the 4 player coop!!! Yeah itd be nice but its not the be all and end all.

... is exactly what everyone would say if it wasn't for the fact that a third of the hype for too human was "4 player coop!!! the be all and end all!!!"

What a bunch of fucking lies, as expected from your sort! :lol

My sort? I said that the game looked good and that I couldn't wait to play it. Does that mean that it's a day 1 purchase? No. Does that mean that I'm pining over every screen and little tidbit of juicy information about the game? No.

The game DOES look good and I AM interested (barely was an exaggeration...there are probably a dozen I'd rather be playing first though) in playing it. I can say the same damn thing about 20 games this year.

Urg, Banjo doesn't move too good in that Xbox UK video :(

It doesn't. Framerate hiccups and tearing galore.

Ah well, it has time. At least Fable 2 and NG2 are looking excellent, as always.

That plastic look really needs to go.

Sorry, NG2 can do no wrong.

1up Banjo hands on

Between optional objectives such as that, the multiplayer, and a grading system to encourage replaying challenges, the game should have plenty of content, but I'm most intrigued to find out whether Nuts & Bolts comes together in the cohesive, creatively invigorating manner I'm hoping it does. It's certainly new and exciting...but when playing, I had a tough time determining whether I was actually having fun or was simply so fascinated by the novelty and entertained by the vehicle-building that it was compelling enough on those merits alone. Or maybe that's the point? Either way, it'll be an interesting, creatively empowering fall season for gamers.

:lol

Yeah. Framerate is bad, and the animations are sub par so far.

I'm very very disappointed. But wait a minute blingbling what about Ninja Blade?!

No need to shit on it, you like your fair share of unpopular games.
I think it's reasonable in this case. I was expecting local 2 player co-op for this game, and many of you guys seemed to really want that 4-player online co-op. Neither of them made it. It's pretty fucking ridiculous.

It was you know, until they ran into:

- delay problems
- engine troubles
- legal problems
- chaotic issues
- balancing problems

Just the usual stuff that everyday developers have to deal with. We should all understand, and nod, and then proceed to support Silicon Knights. Right?

The Mariomobile is nice and tall as well, 20x20x20 construction area should be enough for some impressive vehicles. Even more so if we can place two or more in the world at a time.

I'm getting a real Mythbusters vibe from some of the challenges as well! :D

Prince's's 'Skittle's
So the option to create a female character in Fable 2 (a game where character creation and immerse is a focal point) was only included at the behest of the (likely few) women on staff? And there was a sex mini-game that had to be replaced by a black screen with moaning? I mean, c'mon, are the people designing this stuff a bunch of fat comic book guys who know not the touch of a woman, tittering at the idea of a sex mini-game?

It's cringe inducing.

Yeah, I wasn't too concerned about that stuff. It's early.

Yup, should be fine.

Urm, It's probably more to do with ratings and what's currently acceptable in video games. Did you see the Mass Effect media storm?

If you're still interested in the fundamental game, why not? I don't understand why someone has to be flagellated because they're still interested in the core gameplay.

Do note that in order to get a video out that showcases all of the new features in Banjo 3ish Rare had to take certain liberties.

It may be prudent to wait for videos closer to the release of the game before lamenting the framerate/animation.

Good for you, I just like to play games with friends next to me. For me, I now have no interest, and apparently more options = bad, as so many games these days are neglecting local multiplayer :-\

Plus, split-screen? Have you ever played a dungeon crawler?

My bad I didn't realize it didn't require split screen for 4 player co-op

That should probably go without saying at this point, but it probably is worth pointing out.

Really? Then why were you posting in pretty much every single Too Human thread in the past few months? :)

I'm sorry, it's just weak and lame to throw around the "you know im barely interested in this" bull-fucking-shit to make your statements sound more unbiased and credible. When people do that around here, bad things happen. It's considered dishonest and sneaky.

There's nothing wrong with being a fan of something that's unpopular on GAF, but the last thing that should be supported is behavior where fans can go around pretending they are fair and balanced.

Or wait til we're playing the finished product in the interest of objectivity.

No, they are in San Fran right now, but to my understanding no video allowed.

Look, it seems every journalist, including me, wired and 1Up, really enjoyed Banjo. Shouldn't that tell you something about how this game actually plays, instead of just trying to imagine how you will like it based on screens or videos?

Well, I give up... you'll see in november.

So are we sure Ninja Blade wasn't suppose to be just Ninja Gaiden2 in the press kits? (maybe just some low-level fuckup that we blew out of proportion)

So it's OBJECTIVE when you haven't played it and you post "looks great!", but yet it's NOT OBJECTIVE when people that haven't played it post that it looks like dogshit? Riiiiiight.
