Both versions are doing a take on the scene. The manga is feels like a surge of emotions Deku is feeling that someone he admires tells him he can be what he wants to be. The anime I feel is the better of the two. It's a warmer scene that's more comforting. I also like to think the sunset also represents that Deku's doubt of himself is over.
The manga isn't just the speed lines, I'm saying -- the entire style slowly changes to a blurry and thick one as Deku realizes what All Might is about to say.
What the fuck.
What the fuck.
Great episode. Too bad there are only 5 left.
Will there be season two soon?
lolI swear to God if I see the "wow, you're so cool Kacchan" flashback one more time.

Oh man those are great color schemes.
Didn't see it yet but I guess they wanted to show the other students in action?Weird that they only covered one chapter this episode, normally they cover two.

No wonder it felt slow and short.

Kaminari again looked so good and Kirishima's smile in the classroom brightened my morning.
Todoroki was cool too.
Bakugo's part finally got me emotionally invested in this anime more than the previous Midoriya creying scenes. You can just feel all his emotions in that scene realizing that his thoughts of being strong when placed in an environment with truly prolific people was being challenged in a way way harsher than he even expected and then to be faced with that truth by his best friend, it was painful, tear inducing, and emotional. He will come out better I hope and make great strides with Midoriya's help.I love their thing.
I don't think they showed it yet, butPut it in spoilers if you need to, but what Quirk does the guy with the weird head directly above the purple grape guy(in the group pic in DTL's post) have? I can't remember if they've showed it.
I don't think they show it yet, but
He can talk to/control animals/insects.
Kinda sucks that he got mutated in addition to that.
Yea idk why that pink chick is blocking best girlBest girl
She also happens to have one of the coolest supehero names in the series, Alien Queen, which is a big plus in my book.Best girl
No arguments from mefrog girl is clearly the best character of the show so far. anyone that disagrees with me is wrong

I predict the Ashiido and Invisible Girl Fan arts are going to increase exponentially. The Frog Girl art amount is already high and I expect even more now.
Kacchan is miserable and deku is a moron for constantly trying to be his friend.
Definitely an enjoyable if not even slower paced than usual episode. I've read just a teensy bit ahead in the manga (probably up to the point where the anime will end), so it's nice to see the rest of the class in action. Takoyami & Todoroki are my favorite characters so far, both seem pretty badass.
This was when the ship set sail

While the design is cool the giant exposed brain seems like such a glaring weakness for a close range fighter based on the opening.
I was really surprised when his power seemed to be shadow/darkness related. I thought he was hiding a bird-like body with wings underneath his cloak.
Can someone explain this dude to me? His design is kinda confusing me. What's up with the giant puff of fur coming out of his chest?
I kept cringing during that scene. Why the hell is he still so attached to him? I bet this leak is going to backfire enormously later. So many ways it could go wrong, even without malicious intent for Kacchan.

You and me against the world, homeboy.
I love that she repeated it 3 times.
