NBA 2015- 16 Regular Season IOTI - NBA GAF Is Pretty Dead Considering This Fact

From 1 seed to lottery if you lose a single player seems like a horrible way to construct a roster.

Cavs are frauds. This has been apparent for a long time. When Lebron sat on Friday against Toronto their team lost complete control of the game. Their whole squad is Lebron. And Lebron isn't good enough to carry the rest of this clown show.

Have you not been paying attention to the years LeBron wasn't there?

I just assumed Kyrie would be able to pull some of the weight even if Love can't, especially since I thought he would've learned a lot more playing with Bron.

But I guess Lebron's presence really is that insane

Another reason why it doesn't matter who we play in the first round playoffs. It is going to be a difficult challenge compared to the possible 2nd round matchups. I would love to face the Celtics or Hawks over the Pistons, Bulls, Wizards or Hornets.

I don't know about the Hornets but the Celtics basically have one fringe to 40-50 player on the entire roster so the Pistons Bulls and Wiz have the edge in talent for sure. I think the Hornets are what they are. Mediocre. Hawks have experience and more talent than the Celtics too.

I think I agree with Warriors-GAF about how the new ownership and changes helped Curry's development. It is hard to say he would still be this good in a shit organization like the Wolves.

In retrospect I can't believe how right they were turning down that Klay for Love trade.

Joe Johnson's 3 brought a tear to my eye. Wow man, a 3 early in the game...what a sight for sore eyes.

Can we start calling Terrence Ross a good basketball player?

Yes, we criticize the shit outta him when he was playing awful so we have to give him props when he is playing well. Embarrassing display by the Raptors. No commitment on the defensive end what so ever. The garbage time players actually made the end interesting. The guards were horrible today making the big guys have to help and get exposed.

There was a good chance that he would have ended his career due to ankle injuries. They rushed him back when he clearly wasn't healthy. That and Keith Smart benching him in favor of Acie Law...

So I've been thinking about this lately, and I know it may be a little soon but I think Hassan Whiteside may just be the perfect example of why the hacking rules should not change. His FT% through February has been 72%. He was doing 52% in January. Dude has had a quick turn around in this regard.

I know his real trial by fire will be during the playoffs, but if he can keep this up, then there really is no excuse Drummond, Jordan, and Howard to keep shooting the way they do.

I am fully convinced that Stephen Curry is an entire echelon higher than Michael Jordan. Jordan would be frustrated and give up if he had to play any Stephen Curry team.

Stephen Curry is the greatest of all time. Jordan is a far far far distant second.

Please tell me I am missing an in-joke or I am just a little slow? Did you see Michael play? No, he couldn't shoot three; but he was so dominant at times it looked like he was playing high schoolers.

And Jordan did it from day 1. Straight out of college he was just about the best player in his first season (6th in MVP voting, 28.2 ppg, 6.5 boards, 5.9 assists, 2.4 steals) IN HIS ROOKIE YEAR! Nobody has even come close to doing that or sustaining it for as long as Michael did.

Don't get me wrong, I love watching Curry play right now and he is without question, the greatest shooter in the league and perhaps in the history of the game, but Jordan was the whole package. He had a killer jumpshot, the best fadeaway, thdrove through (hardcore) defences like butter, was a beast on defence and had a drive and hunger that's never been seen before (or since). Jordan put up numbers like Steph this year throughout his whole career. Think about that. Think about how off the chain Steph is right now and think that MJ did it for 12 seasons or however many he played. Give it time and Curry will be considered one of the best ever but for me, MJ is still without question the best I've ever seen play (disclaimer: I never saw Wilt)

I could see Cleveland getting knocked out of the first round and the California Warriors winning it all for the next 5-6 years with or without the addition of KD

Motiejunas to Lithuania media: The physical I failed was a joke. Detroit changed their minds.

– What was the situation after the trade with Pistons?

– The medical examination is a funny thing. The team doctor simply says whether you pass or don’t, although they may not even do any checks. Those 48 hours actually just let the team decide whether they want you or not. The Pistons announced I did not pass the medical, although I surely did pass it and played even before it. I just got ‘screwed’. The injury was a pretense to call off the trade. They changed their minds.

– Did you want to play in Detroit?

– Whether I wanted or not, the trade happened, so I started concentrating on playing there, but we all saw what happened. I was in Detroit, I stayed with the team for 3-4 days. I saw the practice, I did other stuff.

– How serious is your back injury, truth be told?

– Now everything is fine. During the All Star break I worked with a back specialist in Vancouver. When the season ends I will most likely go there again to work some more. As much as I talked to doctors and saw the photos, there is nothing serious, all problems are temporary.

Obviously I don't believe him but I think it'd be hilarious if the Pistons just decided to fuck the Rockets like that.

Anthony Bennett getting waived by Toronto for the awful Jason Thompson. Damn.

Has to be in the running for worst #1 pick ever. Dude is only 22.

Definitely in the discussion. Especially considering it is not injury related at all; guy just can't play at this level.

To be fair it was an abysmal draft so the mistake is not as huge as other drafts.

facebook just told me that Kyrie Irving isn't happy in Cleveland

source is Stephen A Smith

Dating back to last year, I’ve been told that Kyrie Irving ain’t too happy being in Cleveland. The situation is not ideal for him. I don’t know the particulars, I haven’t spoken to him personally. It’s something that I’ve been hearing for months; that under ideal circumstances he would prefer to be someplace other than Cleveland.

"under ideal circumstances he would prefer to be someplace other than Cleveland."

Isn't that true of everyone who lives in Cleveland?

I'm assuming that this sentiment would be taken as a given and therefore not newsworthy; this must be in regards to the basketball team in Cleveland
