Just played the PS3 demo, I can't fucking stand these awful menus. They look cheap as hell, it seems like its been like that for the 2K series for years. Didn't help that the demo wasn't fun at all and only 1 quarter, come on. :lol

Do you think they would delay releasing the PC patch till the console patches are out, even though it doesn't require any certification? I was thinking about buying this on Steam because I haven't played a basketball game since NBA Action '97 or something and wanted to try this one out, but now I'm thinking that buying DoW II might be the better option.

Well . . . I'm pretty sure they give a fuck. Their means of making a living literally depends on it. But yeah, they are certainly not fulfilling consumer expectations right now.

That is annoying. But I guess MS realizes that hdd space is a valuable commodity . . . and they keep it that way with their ridiculously over-priced hdds.

Am i the only one that thinks this game is awesome besides the flaws?

To me it's better than 2k9, specially because of my player mode. Online is where most of the problems are, but this game it's not what this thread is making you believe.

It's still way better than Live, even with the improvments on EA part.

Why so much hate?

You arent seeing the glitches? Its not even about gameplay preferences at this point. Game is glitchy as hell
 
Ugh, I told myself I would leave this on my shelf and play Live until the patch hits. I love My Player and can't wait to get back into it, but it looks like this'll be on the shelf for a while. :(

I like how they were asking the community to find bugs for them and report back on it. We just paid upwards of 65 dollars on this thing and we're supposed to QC for them???

I'm pleased to hear 2K taking this issue very seriously.

I've already mailed my copy off to my nephew. I'm just not into basketball.

I played a game and then simmed a whole season. I was pissed to learn that there are no achievements for winning the championship. :lol

If this had been before the game had released, and/or they were asking the community for their input on game modes, additional features etc. that's all well and good.

This is different. This is something that they pay their employees to do. But when you release a product to me and I pay for it and when a major feature doesn't work and you say "I'm stumped" as to how to fix it...What sense would it make to further invest your time with it?

Because I like playing the game. If I play the game, I would obviously want the game to be as good as it can be. It's not a really difficult logical leap...unless you're obsessed with pointless bitching. Griping about what doesn't work and why is one thing, being ridiculously illogical about "unpaid work" is retarded.

maybe this logical leap isn't too difficult; consumers who purchase 60 dollar games shouldn't be the one's asked to help ensure that X bug is closed/open.

Dude dropped 57 on us with a center was like like 8 feet tall with like 99 strength and close range/dunking.

He was also their best freethrow shooter!

We kept it in single digits for a bit but he blew the gates open with lead pass in the 4th :(
